Was best known for starring in numerous rather lowbrow westerns and comedies from the 60s to the early 90s, usually alongside Terence Hill. I found out of his illness a few months back through sheer luck - I was bored and browsing through various Wiki pages on people who experienced the atomic bombings - and thus him on my planned DDP team (which I have not sent yet) in hopes that his interesting backstory and the success of his work would be enough to warrant an obit. It seems to be lucky on my part he died before the New Year: I've occasionally checked to see if he'd have gotten a relevant obit and a few weeks later, he's gotten some US obits of note such as one from the Washington Post, but nothing UK-based.
