10 of 17 eliminated from the sweepstake, 7 left for the Greek to outlive to start a new one.

The Duke of Edinburgh will probably live to see 100. He is certainly more active and looks less frail than the Queen Mother ever was at 97, despite his retirement.

Involved in accident, uninjured.

Probably not a carriage accident... ha!

Was he driving? Might have been a passenger.

https://www.klfm967.co.uk/news/klfm-news/2784798/two-car-crash-on-a149-sandringham/-  Appears to have been this accident.

Edit- Saw he was driving. I wonder how the other driver and any passengers are.

The queen loves her car crashes. No wonder she looked so chipper without him in christmas day

Vehicle turned over....

And that looks more like a car Prince Phillip would be driving than the other car in the pic.

Apparently the car flipped over, I know they have said he wasn’t injured but I’d be amazed if he didn’t have some type of injuries as apparently the drivers of the other cars that didn’t turn over had some minor injuries but a 97 year old man whose car turned over didn’t. There will be some lasting damage for sure as at 97 the shock alone could cause all sorts of medical problems.

My grandmother emerged "unhurt" after the car her husband was driving turned over, and died an hour later of a massive heart attack. She was a year older than Prince Charles, very fit, and had longevity genes equal to that of the Queen Mother and Queen Elizabeth II -- four of her sisters passed ninety years mark, one was a centenarian.

A common type of accident on the A149.

The council are going to put speed cameras up because, obviously, it will reduce the accident rate.

Is there any report of the other drivers ethnicity ?

Maybe that is a clue to how the crash happened

Statement from Norfolk police.

Sandringham collision statement

Norfolk Police can confirm officers attended a collision on the A149 at Sandringham today (Thursday 17 January 2019).

Officers were called to the scene shortly before 3pm after a Landrover and Kia were involved in a collision.

The male driver of the Landrover was uninjured. The female driver of the Kia suffered cuts while the female passenger sustained an arm injury, both requiring hospital treatment.

We can confirm both casualties from the Kia have been treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn and have since been discharged.

The road remained open and both vehicles were recovered a short time later.

It is force policy to breath test drivers involved in collisions. We can confirm both drivers were breath tested and provided negative readings.

I’m sure there’s an irony in there somewhere.
