I have read all of his Doctor Who output. His novels are always thoroughly researched but he could occasionally get carried away by historic detail which sometimes detracted from story telling. Scary that he has gone so young. He was the same age as me

Saw FB posting today saying Darryl Bullock (The Velvet Mafia, David Bowie Made me Gay etc.) has just died. Actually had dealings with him, largely on the back of the fact he was arguably one of the greatest UK experts on truly awful records (he'd had a radio show for years called The Worlds Worst Records Radio Show) and was on something of a roll with his writing (incl. decent deals for TV adaptations). There's no actual tweets on the account other than the death announcements, everything else is an RT of the actual Det Norske Samlaget account.

You can just buy an account and wipe all the previous tweets though. If it's not blueticked then there's no penalty for changing the username.
