The Walnut thing is awful .

Making an ill dog go a walk to the gas chamber in full view of the media with hundreds of folk and other dogs around is frankly appalling.

Owner is a prick.

However the link at the bottom of the Mirror http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/terminally-ill-teenager-raises-thousands-9247232

gives us a 17 year old terminally I'll go fund my wedding girl, who will be 18 when she pops it next year.

Will fit some pools....

Edit... Yeah, I know that looks bad, but, I know the 'right' in Life....

Oh, well - her local paper are all over it so it'll be qualifying in Deathrace for sure.

Then again, she may well live to see the DR winner crowned.

Walnut the Whippet

BBC Obit no less: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-37955748

Animal Antics please.

Aye, point taken but it was the BBC coverage that prompted me to place it here.

There's many notable humans denied that level of national attention when they die

World's oldest please.

125 in dog years!

Just as an aside, a regular attender of our Remembrance Sunday parade was missing yesterday. Millie the Jack Russell Terrier has died at the age of 133 dog years.

PBS journalist Gwen Ifill, 61.

Got a suspicion she was on some folk's shortlists for 2017.

Steve Wright looks like absolute shit in that photo, is that recent? He looks like he's on his fourth bypass.

this is what he look s like these days.. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=steve+wright&biw=1920&bih=919&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwiip4PNh6nQAhUHLcAKHemyDcgQ_AUIBygC#imgrc=i6rIDuMRMMGRdM%3A

I can be a bit obsessive about getting a tie to equal lengths but come on, why would you even bother. Definite signs of all not being well - get him on a list.

Both those pictures are well over a year old so who knows, he might have lost 10 stone since then?

That neck suggests a thyroid problem.

Ok, he could just be a fat bastard BUT, generally, the neck isn't as big as the whole head or summat.

Glad no one so crass as to say 'Ifill up a casket' or summat.

Ken Farlow, WW2 spitfire engineer, at 95.

He was on my Deathrace shortlist, which now exists.

Yeah, being full of those on the last legs, it turns out they don't have the legs to reach your starting line. Still, that's death for you.

Seriously though how would I ever be expected to have ever heard of this cat? It's virtually impossible and puts me at such a non-competive advantage with the QO sources I've already just about confirmed I'll be focusing on my own DP and just send a theme team and otherwise skip out of DDP, although it's a blast. I don't doubt this guy WAS on a lot of yall's lists. That's my point. He woulda been a good pick.
