Scandal mired Nigerian politician Diezani Alison-Madueke, the current president of OPEC, is apparently suffering from cancer. She was arrested in the UK by the National Crime Agency earlier this year, who wanted to speak to her about bribery and money laundering, leading to rumours that she may be exaggerating her illness to avoid further legal action.

7 years later, Diezani Alison-Madueke supposedly still has cancer, stage 2! She's still in London exile after corruption charges, that she admits are justified.

Probably not the only person who saw high profile corrupt Indonesian politician Lukas Enembe claiming he was gravely ill a month ago and thought "yeah, like I'm falling for that one on the DDP".

Well, apparently he was actually gravely ill and has died aged 56

Updated for Delors and Clinton-Davis. Abel Matutes is the last survivor of Delors I. 2024 will kill atleast one or two more from those lists. There's three nonagenarians, van den Broek who's had late-stage dementia since atleast 2018 and Steichen who has looked very unwell for a long time.

Herb Kohl, U.S. senator from Wisconsin and Milwaukee Bucks owner, dead at 88.

Humorously, he had no mentions on here until yesterday when he was picked for a 2024 pool.

Odd, considering that, and correct me if I'm wrong, he's the only congressman or senator who's ever owned a professional sports team while being in office..

Surprisingly, given he was still minority owner of the Bucks at death per Wikipedia, the team hasn't yet released a statement on social media

Is Mam Nai still alive? Last news seems to be from 2009. I don't even understand how he avoided jail.
