ImNotHades 207 Posted February 20, 2016 Sidney turned 89 yesterday so I figured I'll make a thread, it's about time I think (if there is one already, be free to close this one because i can't find his name anywhere). So judged by his age I think he'll go like Lauren Bacall (stroke, heart attack).

RoverAndOut 4,694 Posted February 21, 2016 He won the BAFTA Fellowship last weekend but wasn't there to collect it due to ill health. They showed him receiving it on the big screen though, from Jamie Foxx, alongside his daughter (also called Sydney). He looked....very old. But he was standing up for the speech and didn't look that bad all things considered. Certainly not as though he was in severe 'ill health'. But time is clearly catching up with him, not got too many more years to go.
Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted February 21, 2016 Thank gawd for that!! Good to see a black actor finally being recognised for their contribution to the Deadpool industry. DL is leading the way in demonstrating its non racist credentials. Can we not have a thread titled 'Is it coz I is Black?' where we can discuss the famous and infamous 'non white' celebrities??
Magere Hein 1,399 Posted February 21, 2016 DL is leading the way in demonstrating its non racist credentials. Isn't that the same as saying: we're equal opportunity ghouls? Can we not have a thread titled 'Is it coz I is Black?' where we can discuss the famous and infamous 'non white' celebrities?? Nah, better not. It might lead to awkward questions.

Aye, best not cause any upset. AFAIK, they are currently casting new 'oscars' at the foundry with afro haircuts to demonstrate, beyond all doubt, that the Academy is very racially inclusive.
