rockhopper penguin 2,265 Posted January 15, 2017 Roll mop? Eh, proves that no heterosexual males shops in Morrisons.... Roll mop? Pickled herring ... Little strips rolled up. Nah, straight down the neck in one. It's a bugger opening the jars with flippers though.
WednesdayAddams 103 Posted January 15, 2017 Morrisons aren't silly, they do know their customer demographic. Yoofs don't buy Snoop Dogg albums in a supermarket. It's actually the 'official' chart not just Morrison's. Don't forget a lot of albums are compilations of old stuff and they'll hit the charts if they are fairly recent releases. Wouldn't surprise me to see stuff like Abba or remasters of Genesis or covers of 'Classics' by people like Alexander Armstrong or what have you lingering around in there. The UK album charts has always been a bit odd like that.

maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted January 17, 2017 Of late I've been looking for WTF tracks for my radio show (as in the ones we play where we don't announce them and challenge the listeners to figure out who they are) It's brought up some strange corners for acts I'd otherwise write off as terminally naff I've Grown Accustomed to her Face - Rod Stewart (actually an instrumental - which I think is unique in his solo output) Alley Katz - Hall and Oates (punk rock with Robert Fripp on guitar - strange beyond human understanding) Plexiglass Toilet - Styx (comedy calypso - before they figured radio friendly was the way to go)
the_engineer 1,415 Posted January 18, 2017 Well i certainly listen to a lot of K-POP and i wouldn't blast it from my speakers. Rainie Yang i'm a total fanboy of hers since I was a teenager but i wouldn't play her music aloud. Maybe to others some of these are not embarrassing to them but these are songs i'd be embarrassed to admit I liked to anyone IRL,defo strictly for my headphones haha. Also I think this is gender specific as I guy i'm embarrassed to admit songs aimed at girls or love songs etc. 2 ne 1 i am the best Michael Jackson - earth song rainie yang - ideal lover rainie yang - Wo De Ai Diao Dian Di George Michael - careless whisper Britney spears - everytime NSYNC - bye bye bye my sassy girl - I believe Katy Perry - Dark horse < despite all the Illuminati junk in her vids john cena - Beats, Rhymes & Life James Arthur - Impossible Darren hayes - insatiable Hero - nickelback heavy rotation - AKB48 girls aloud - the show frozen - madonna Donald trump - panda (I hope Trump releases an album after his presidency ) daniel bedingfield - if your not the one cher - the sun ain't gonna shine no more

There seems to be a big fanbase/following for Filthy Frank and his content, whether it be his YouTube videos or his songs Anyways, I'm listening to a lot of riot grrrl music like Bikini Kill. Good stuff. Not a big fan of Kathleen Hanna's current project, Le Tigre however.
dean1991 116 Posted October 14, 2017 Went to a ska gig in Bristol a couple of nights ago. Not usually my kind of thing but found myself enjoying it a lot, especially the 'Mad Caddies'. Reel Big Fish headlined. Maybe known to some on here for BASEketball.

TQR 14,398 Posted December 29, 2017 I have 39 Travis songs on my iTunes. And some R.E.M. I'm 21 years of age.
msc 18,477 Posted December 29, 2017 Nothing wrong with R.E.M. Automatic was a fine album, and Monster has its moments. They've got a lot of drudgery but hey... Travis sing "Why does it always rain on me" and the next line isn't "is it because I live in fucking Scotland?" for shame.
