That's great. He did this one last week too, similarly full of "I don't give a shit now I'm 85" isms.

Doesn't really speak much for Cosby if one of his closest friends is clearly convinced he's guilty, though.

Must be going out in style.

Kind of like this path, it's certainly more interesting.

I see him ending in a similar manner as the Dustin Hoffmann character in the film: Wag the Dog. Someone, like the movie director in the film, who could not keep his month shut, ends up with a convienent `heart-attack`.

On top of one of those 22 'girlfriends' ---- hope so anyways.  Definitely one of those who makes the world a more interesting place :)

Is this the chap who used to be married to the mighty fine Peggy Lipton? I'm afraid that's all I can contribute to the thread.

Peggy Lipton, who co-starred in the 1960/70s TV series 'the Mod Squad' and the 80s/90s TV series 'Twin Peaks' , has died.  She was 72. Lipton is also the ex-Mrs. Quincy Jones and mother of Rashida Jones.

And you're helping how? In 2023, you suggested about 300+ names for a 50 name list.

The Daredevil did pick him up in his 50 and he's just referring to Matt Monro and the song that opens up The Italian Job.That Quincy Jones composed.

I don't consider Jones a miss for the DL HOWEVER I see where the previous comments come from : frustration. Quincy was one of those real old, frail looking, top fame celebrity who you'd like to see on the list (as for Loren, Clive Davis, Berry Gordy, John Wiliams, or Georges Soros, A-listers that I suggested a few times recently). So I get how frustrating it is to see such a prominent figure die while being ignored by not only the DL but other pools and most users around here. Plus, it's somehow hard to justify how someone like Cheney has stayed on the list for 6 years in a row despite being less famous, younger and supposedly healthy, over a prominent 90 yo frail man. But again, there's only 50 spots to fill, that's right…

A lot of A-listers have been consistently ignored around here (those quoted above and others like Maggie Smith looked frail for ages,  Cissy Houston was said to be circling the drain for so long…) while others like James Earl Jones instantly became forum favorites and made it to everyone's list. Not that I mind, but it's somehow difficult to justify. See, for example, when Earl Jones die, various people called him a miss and everyone agreed. Not sure why calling Quincy a miss is more farfetched

anyway, +8 for my shadow list. Ai no corrida anymore

I got it.

Anyway isn't there another Quincy Jones who's supposed to be terminally ill?  I don't remember any negative health news about the one who just died.
