she will die of pancreatic cancer next september. sorry i meant to say the duke of edinb will. i know someone who works at the hospital he was in this summer! Really? That's weird because I know someone who once walked their dog in Hyde Park, and their dog nicked a frisbee off this bloke who once sold a car to Danny Dyer, who once teabagged a girl who went to the same school as Princess Katie. And he said you're a massive twat! So it must be true.

This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. This is a bad pick.....Regardless if he makes it when if you repick him; is the juice worth the squeeze? List him until he falls and breaks his hip? With Biggs at least you get some chatter. May the Ugly live forever. . This was a bad pick. Eli will make it to 100. 5 years going with the same bit....just need another few years Tuco to get to 100.

Jolly good, just about set for the 2014 game to kick off at noon tomorrow. Should any picks die between now and noon they will count for the entered teams. I'll place the final 2013 result here at midday. So if any teams are not quite happy with the order or who they entered you can make TWO changes to your team till NOON today. You can bring in ONE new team member subtituting out one off your list and then move that person up or down into the order you wish. Or you can use your TWO substitutes by replacing any two members of your team in the previous positions. The big twist will be that the remaining subs will be able to score points during the year - more details to follow after noon tomorrow so please make sure you are all listing TWO subs' so you don't miss those extra points.

I'm likewise surprised by no Jaruzelski or Benn. I think besides Jaru though everyone that was a definite keeper returned. Plenty of good names, Wilko, Simon, Harper, Joost, Kasem... Also like seeing Luise Rainer (kind of assumed she just wasn't viewed as "DeathList"-y since she stayed off well into her 100s) and Sid Caesar as well. Some lower-list names seem real healthy but I suppose the same could be said for last year and that did very well via the unhealthier picks.

A strange mix of gambles and conservative picks this year _I think it may well pay off but cant understand why Jaruzelski has been omitted he was one of last years strongest candidates!

    Hey, where is Jaruzelski???!!!!

My team is in, but only after including Clive James at the very last minute. I've struggled for inspiration this time around and haven't studied the form as closely as I did in previous years, so I don't think I'll be challenging for the lead in 2014. The competitive flame has dimmed a little for me these days. Good luck in your battles to everyone who plays and everyone who is picked.

Good point (for a guest). Were Gough Whitlam to die right now, where it is already 2014 in his country of residence but still 2013 in the UK, would his demise be considered a hit for the 2013 list? Yes! I always thought time and date of death is taken as local time. It's in the unwritten rules, rule 48 section h sub section 2d under the section Ken Dodds dads dogs dead
