I have never really listened to much Glen (country music definitely isn't my thing) but just came across this version of the William Tell Overture. Didn't realise he was a good instrumental guitarist as well a singer:

Being mental is so exhausting. Yesterday I was the most awesome human being the world had ever seen, and today I'm a grotesque worthless piece of shit. Tomorrow I'll probably be awesome again. Wibble.

Imelda Marcos is an excellent choice and I believe the infamy she garnered in her era makes her very deathlisty!

Congratulations, Spade! All the best with the upcoming duty, and thank you for assuring the DDP will soldier on post-TMIB given how up in the air it was looking beforehand. The top job Blackie did as host can't be understated, his rest is more than well deserved.

Wow, good luck, Spade! And well done, TMIB. It really can't be said enough how much you've been The Fucking Boss (TM) for the past eight years.

Probably Carrington or Graham, Carrington seems to have had a bit of an ill stretch and Graham has been described as "frail"

Hello! Longtime lurker, first time poster. Off-and-on dead pool participant since 1997. What took me so long? Good or even tepid DP chat is harder to come by for me elsewhere. Love the forums for research and banter. Last week's UK election news and commentary have been extensive and amusing enough where I now feel almost informed to understand the UK political posts. Despite the avatar, I am female and drink coffee. Like Buster Keaton's character in "The Railrodder", I ended up at Canada's west coast and now cavort, dally and mope depending on the seasons on both sides of the 49th parallel. (I vote in Canada's federal elections. I claim no responsibility for the US political climate.) Happy to be here, and thankful for the help the forum's given me in this year's dead pools.

I like that the "related people" from a Google search for him is a hodgepodge of his contemporaries from boxing and his contemporaries from the DL.

Can't believe people are seriously suggesting Liz Dawn isn't a good pick. She's been on her death bed for a decade and a half, she's one of the most famous woman in Britain and pat of one of the most long-lived and recognisable television institutions. When she does go, she'll be the main story on every front page, every news channel every online breaking news alert and she'll get an hour long special after the episode of Coronation Street that is dedicated to her memory the day after she goes. There's only a handful of surviving soap opera actors that would get treatment like that and even fewer who are known to be unwell.

Your opinion is probably coloured by the fact that you wouldn't really have a clue who she is.
