3 pointsAh, Facebook. The place where people hit "Share" without doing 5 seconds of research. Also the place where you find out that the people you went to school with can be really fucking gullible.

2 pointsOh no.He's due to headline the big Aspatria Music Festival a week Saturday. Hope he recovers in time? The organisers have gone to great lengths to welcome him to our little prehistoric settlement, even going as far as cleaning away all the used condoms and wet wipes from the alley behind the Post Office: two weeks in advance: unheard of. They didn't do that last year for Dr and the Medics. They just left them

2 pointshttps://www.theguardian.com/fashion/2018/jul/18/was-the-queen-sending-coded-messages-to-donald-trump-via-her-brooches-absolutely "On the first day of the Trump visit, the Queen wore a simple green brooch that was given to her by the Obamas to signify their friendship. On the second day, she wore a brooch given to her by Canada, a country with which Trump is less than pleased at the moment (also, it was in the shape of a snowflake, a classic Trump term for people who disagree with him.) And, for the last day, she chose a brooch the Queen Mother wore to the funeral of King George VI, so not one associated with happiness and joy. Queen’s brooches: 3. Trump: 0. "

1 point2017 saw the highest number of deaths in England and Wales in the past 14 years with 533,253 deaths registered, even though the age-standardised mortality rate continued to fall. Primarily the rise in deaths was attributable to changes in population age and size. https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/deaths/bulletins/deathsregistrationsummarytables/2017 I'd anticipate this total is only going to go on increasing. The peak in births in 1947 ( https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/birthsdeathsandmarriages/livebirths/articles/trendsinbirthsanddeathsoverthelastcentury/2015-07-15) was, of course, seventy years ago, and mortality rates rise sharply once people get past the age of three score years and ten.

1 pointThen again, they could be another successful punt pick like Mark E Smith was this year. But neither of them are giving me strong gut feelings like Smith did last year, so you’re probably right...
-
1 pointI have the feeling that he and Elvis Costello will be on the 2019 Deathlist. But I am not sure about that because both of them aren't the best picks.

1 pointYou have shattered my illusions. I have never been to Aspatria, but to me the name sounds like a dwelling place for classical gods and goddesses.

1 pointTime we added academic and neurolopsychologist Brenda Milner to this thread Celebrated the ton a few days ago with thirty friends around and suggested she intends to continue the teaching and research she's still doing. Made no comment on her q/o chances but a swift Google suggests they're strong.

1 pointI'm so bored I decided to list this men's current health conditions: 1)Do Muoi: Hospitalized in April at 108 Hospital and not discharged yet, apparently for heart issues and pneumonia, Dead to respiratory failure. 2)Babiker Awadalla: Was abroad a whole year to seek treatment in Dublin. Now back to Egypt. Dementia sufferer, died in January 2019. 3)Yasuhiro Nakasone: Only had wrist surgery some time ago. A quiet unexprected death for Yasu out of Ron&Yasu. 4)Hyun Soon-jong: No known health issues. Declined fast and died in May 2020 during a bloodbath of immortals. 5)M. K. Lamrani: No health issues and still president of his group. First Blood. 6)Hau Pei-tsun: Astounding health, I'd say, a guarantee to make it to 100 at very least. And he made it, then a stroke and subsequent complications dished him out. 7)JPdC: Wheelchair bound and almost blind. Ultimately a DL hit. 8)Josip Manolic: Still going strong. 9)Prem Tinsulanonda: His health has declined over the last year. Last week he was shortly hospitalized. Becoming less and less active, but mantaining official duties for now. Suddenly gone from heart failure. 10)Kim Yong-ju: Guarantee to 100. Still serving as DPRK vice president, still presiding fake Parliament. 11)Tun Tin: Bedridden since last September. Sound of mind, though. Hospitalised in the last months, died of respiratory failure. 12)Le Duc Anh: suffered a hemorrhagic stroke in February, hospitalized till June. Invincible, but undeniably ill. Hospitalized again in July. Impossible to think it, but he is gone. 13)Jean Of Luxembourg: Had a bout with bronchitis some time ago, but nothing serious. I still believe he'll be next. Lung problems took the Duke a day after Le Duc. 14)Mustafa ben Halim: Living quietly in Lybia Dubai. Very few news about him. Still sound of mind in late 2014. 15)Abdelmalek Benhabyles: No news on him. Was in great health in 2013. Gone. 16)Francisco Morales Bermudez: Prosecuted by Italian justice, looks considerably younger than his age. No known issues. 17)Luis Echeverria: Hospitalized months for pneumonia in January. Hospitalized again in June. Now recovering at home. 18)Milos Jakes: Hit by a car and seemed done in 2016, appears to have fully recovered. Finally died of old age. 19)Jules Sedney: In good shape and sound of mind. Will reach 100. No, he won't. 20)Lee Teng-hui: Lee is in declining health and permanently on a wheelchair. Multiple organ failure ultimately killed him. 21)Belisario Betancur: He seems to be alright. Gave various interviews about Colombia Missed World Cup in 1982. Kidney failure got him. How the fuck they are all still going after more than nine months?
