2 pointsI think Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek should be under serious consideration as her ill health has been extensively reported.

1 pointUse the GRO Index for deaths in the last 20 years. They're not on FreeBMD and most of them are not on Ancestry! You'll have to sign up with an email address but it's worth it: https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

1 pointThat is absolutely crazy. Just shows how backward and ignorant these people are. Wonder if we can make it a hat trick and get a third in? Ieronymos II of Athens (wiki) also ill...

1 pointFinished. I'll slot these all in later to their respective letters. That last section took so long... bloody Elvis and his huge entourage. That's the 1970s done, and moreover that's me done. I refuse to do anymore. Though corrections and updates are ofc very welcome! If somebody wants to do the 80s they're welcome to, though this is DeathList and I just don't think the 80s musicians are dropping off at anywhere near same rate as those from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Thanks to everyone who chipped in, particularly @YoungWillz and @RoverAndOut.

1 pointFollowing on from the death of John Winston announced last month, and my slightly incomplete list of the oldest living actors from Doctor Who, I thought I'd take a look at how Star Trek's doing. Obviously quite a few of the notables have passed away (Roddenberry, Majel Barrett, Nimoy, Kelley, Doohan, Whitney, Lenard), but a few are still with us, plus a whole host of bit-part players and guest performers. I'm slightly surprised there isn't a thread for the franchise, but I'm keeping Sean happy and not creating one at this time (an admin can spin this off at some point if they want to). Anyway, I've done research into all three seasons of The Original Series and may do more of the series and films (although I had a look at The Motion Picture and after the principals there's shedloads of extras and single scene actors so it may be tricky to work out who's worth doing). Here's an (I hope) exhaustive list of everyone still with us from Season 1 of The Original Series, organised by age with those I have little to no idea of at the bottom. I'll add Seasons 2 and 3 when I get a chance. I've included some notes, where relevant and apologies for any inconsistencies, it was quite hard work! William Shatner (Captain James T.
