3 pointsAs you probably saw the above post, you know full we I never actually mean anything I type on here, all for reactions and I do have boundaries (shock horror). I hope you're happier now. Anyway I'm glad you find me talking to myself amusing. The old ladies on my bus this morning were far less amused.

2 pointsThere was no attempt to censor the names I was just drawing attention to the similarities between them. I trusted in the ability of the other intelligent deadpoolers to be able to do the mental gymnastics to identify who I was talking about

2 pointsThe only Italian musician I know outright is Paolo Conte, who must be in his mid-80s by now, but the fact he's never been mentioned on this forum much suggests Drol thinks he's a bit shit.

2 pointsOh, I love his work with Alice! I saw her live two years ago where she performed a lot of his songs and it was an incredible evening!

2 pointsOh, the trio of dickheads won’t let the opinions of us mere forum members get in the way of their personal vendetta against someone who embarrasses them time and time again. Poor dears. Keep doing what you do best, ToD™!

2 pointsI will fight for true justice until it is received. If the other outlaw folk of this Internet village can be welcomed back with open arms, then why not the outlaw of the village whom was most loved by the gentle folk abs other outlaws alike. Do our village elders feel more threatened by this particular virtual cowboy than other weaklings perhaps?

2 pointsIndeed, I ask the moderators of this great site to look honestly into users eyes and admit that they wouldn't want to be castigated and judged for life on the basis of actions from their late teens and early to mid twenties. Can they honestly say that they were perfect fully rounded people at that age?

2 pointsI'm glad to have your support, it surely is indeed some form of discrimination from the admin team to ostracise someone who was a valued member of this community for 6 years for a handful of misdemeanours committed in a matter of months. I know most of the community agree with me, it's glad to have even lurkers willing to speak out on my behalf. :) peace out

1 pointRay Allen, the driver who won the very first Formula Ford race at Brands Hatch in July 1967 in a MRS Lotus 51, reportedly died: https://forums.autosport.com/topic/217818-vale-ray-allen/ Edit: His sponsor Lord Charles could not be found for comment. (Silly jk).

1 pointOne to watch imo. Brian Glanville. Yes, we know he's a grumpy bastard, but he's also one of the greatest sports writers the UK ever had. (Also one of the very few people brave enough to tell Margaret Thatcher to her face she was wrong about something!) Often ahead of the game in his prime, and then if he was a little old man yells at clouds in his dotage, it was always interestingly written dotage. Anyhow, his weekly column ended last year after over 50 years, and the only articles he's had published in the last 15 months were on file obituaries written years ago (but given a slight polish). As he always struck me, and admitted himself, that he'd write until he dropped, this sudden cessation strikes me as worrisome. He'd be 90 in September if he makes it.

1 pointIn that case we share the same taste of music Alice and also Anna Oxa are both my favourite singers in Italy.

1 pointDon Kernodle, a former NWA and WWE wrestler who had his best run teaming with Sgt. Slaughter as NWA tag team champions (Mid Atlantic version), has died. He was 71. 1 pointAt this point in time, here's what I imagine the top 10 in 2022 will look like: 1. F. W. De Klerk (NEW): Diagnosed with mesothelioma in March. Average prognosis is 10 months. 2. Bob Dole (4): Turns 99 in July '22 and was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer in February. 3. Betty White (2): Turns 100 in January. 4. Jimmy Carter (15): Turns 98 in October '22. Frail and a bedblocker. 5. Leslie Phillips (16): Turns 98 in April '22. Also frail and a bedblocker. 6. Tony Bennett (22): Turns 96 in August '22 and, in February, was revealed to have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2016. 7. Glynis Johns (NEW): Turns 99 in October '22. Just a personal suggestion of mine. 8. Dick Van Dyke (3): Turns 97 in December '22, though very healthy for someone his age. 9. Henry Kissinger (13): Turns 99 in May '22. 10. Queen Elizabeth II (25): Turns 96 in April '22 and was recently widowed.

1 pointNothing trivial, I hope. See above about that fucking interview. The whole handwringing about that fucking Diana (a person more annoying than the Markle talk!) interview from 1995. For 25 years no one gave a shit how they got her in that room, it was all "boo hoo poor Diana, Charlie's shagging about (lets ignore the mutual shagging about)" which only intensified post-1997 when she was dead. I remember the press digging into her in summer 1997 as a twit shacked up with Al-Fayed, and overnight she turned into The Peoples Princess (TM). Then, after dining out on that interview for quarter of a century, suddenly the same press are all "Oh wasn't it immoral how they did it?" Fuck off. Bunch of useless hypocrites, the lot of them. imo Diana "there were three in our marriage if you ignore mine" was one hell of a politician and PR mind, and still has them eating out of her hand over 20 years after she died because she couldn't be bothered to wear a fucking seatbelt. But they can fuck off with the pretend handwringing about false bank statements, the lot of them - the media - got what they wanted in 1995 out of it. Bit far too late now. imo, anyhow. Anyhow, Martin Bashir has always struck me as a jumped up no talent gobshite promoted well beyond his means on TV, but other opinions are available...

1 pointIn a tragic weekend in Formula 1 27 years ago, just a day after Rubens Barrichello had an almighty 95g shunt he was lucky to survive, Simtek rookie Roland Ratzenberger wasn’t so lucky. He was 33.

1 pointMiddle of the Road's Sally Carr is 76 today. Let's celebrate by admiring her bottom ca 1971.
