Most of the deaths SC covers are pointless/random/non-notable/incredibly boring. Earlier it was Kobe Bryant’s widow’s dog.

You know when you are on a British site when you have the following. The inaugural winner of Shed Of The Year, Tony Rogers from Berkshire, won the award back in 2007. Back then Tony was 61 from local reports so he'd have been 75/76 when he died. Pictures etc of his Roman Temple themed shed here: https://www.readersheds.co.uk/share.cfm?shareshed=667

Veteran Pro Modified and no-prep drag racing competitor Wayne Smozanek, 60, succumbed to a lengthy battle with Covid-19 on Saturday, it was confirmed by his wife. The Florida native owned and operated the Performance Center Auto Repair, founded in Jupiter, Florida in 1988. Throughout the years, he drove monster trucks competitively and was a regular at heads-up drag racing events in and around the south in a series of supercharged doorslammers. In recent seasons, he competed with the “Street Outlaws” franchise in its No Prep Kings, Mega Cash Days, America’s List, and other spinoff programs behind the wheel of his supercharged Ford Probe. Smozanek had been in intensive care for seven weeks, dating back to early December, valiantly fighting the illness. SC

I think that more and more names will pop up until they're all dead. Lepik was as far as I know the last living notable SS member for something else than being an SS member and there seem to be very few of those mentioned in this thread who are definitely still alive. Recap of the findings, deaths, news, etc of the year: Ulo Lepik, Kurt Gosdek, Hilde Michnia, Veikko Kasslin, Wilhelm Karl Friedrich Hoffmeister, Helmut Oberlander, Gerhard Sommer, Alfred Stork and Friedrich Karl Berger are dead. And also Johann Robert Riss, if he's this man: https://www.trauer-im-allgaeu.de/traueranzeige/johann-riss From the Final Account: Hans Werk, Kurt Sametreiter, Hermann Franz Ferdinand Knoth and Karl Hollander are dead. Helma Maaß/Kissner, Aksel Andersen, Helmut Leif Rasmussen/Rasboel and Harry Paul Fritz Schultz could be dead. As well as the ones mentioned above. Also not sure about the Final Account SS names Herbert Fuchs, Karl-Heinz Lipok, Otto Duscheleit and Klaus Kleinau. The ones definitely still alive: Irmgard Furchner, Josef Schutz, Herbert Wahler, Jacob Luitjens and Bruno Dey. Also two Finnish SS volunteers are still alive, names not known yet.

Near the beginning of today's CBS coverage of the Phoenix Open Jim Nantz gave an update on Tom Weiskopf, saying that he was doing great with his treatment and, in fact, there is "no sign of cancer". So, take that for what it's worth. Believe Harry Reid and Shintaro Ishihara both had the same update at one point.

Some more, it's probably COVID, even though he's been vaccinated 8 times! https://english.pravda.ru/news/russia/150202-zhirinovsky_covid/ In fact, too many vaccinations might have contributed to his condition.

However you could look at it this way Of all the previous people who reached the age of 119 then 50% of them reached 120 But these are all outliers in any statistical analysis of ageing and tossing a coin is probably as good as it gets
