    Sonomyn is very much alive and cranky! Here's him interviewed in 2020. He seems to be considered a sort of military hero in Mongolia, so no doubt his death won't go unreported. I'd be very very surprised if Rahimuddin Khan was dead too. He is way too big and infamous. Jong Chang-ryol is a 50/50 I'd say. If he is still around he'll receive a 100th birthday spread next year, if his birth date is correct.

    Reino Paasilinna, writer, tv journalist, former member of the Finnish Parliament, former member of the European Parliament, former director-general and chairman of YLE and former vice-chair of the delegation to the EU–Russia Parliamentary Cooperation Committe dead at 82 from Parkinson's complications.
