She is primarily a television actress. Crowley is also remembered for her role in the television sitcom "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" from 1965 to 1967. Lieutenant General Thomas Patten Stafford, American former NASA astronaut who was the Commander of Apollo 10 in 1969, the second manned mission to orbit the Moon, is 92 today. He was the first general officer to fly in space. Stafford is an honorary board member of the humanitarian organization, Wings of Hope.

Sounds similar to my 7 year old nephew last week on Friday the day after Queen died his Mother asked him “Did you do anything to remember the Queen?” My Nephew said “Yes we lit a candle and had to share our favourite memory of the Queen but I didn’t do it” his Mother asked “Why?” My Nephew said “ Because I didn’t have any Memories of her, I never saw her it was Silly.” Made me laugh. Also the other day he went to his Grandparents house and his Grandma had news on and naturally it was about the Queen and he groaned “This is boring when is the Tv getting back to normal?” His Grandma said “It’s for the Queen and it’s History and don’t you think it’s Sad the Queen has died?” and my Nephew Said “Yes it’s sad but it’s gone on too Long Now” My family tried too, must admit though I had to agree with him over the Tv coverage if I’d of said it I would of got a mouthful about disrespecting the Queen and being against the Monarchy but he gets away with it bless him.

Really sad to read that. I corresponded with her lots a few years ago about various stuff and I know she'd been unwell for a long time. She used to proof read and edit my amateur attempts at writing obits until they looked halfway alright. Bless her, that's a terrible loss for deadpooling. David Craig, Baron Craig of Radley, retired RAF officer and Member of the House of Lords is 93 today. He was the United Kingdom's Chief of the Air Staff from 1985 to 1988 and the Chief of the Defence Staff from 1988 to 1991. He was promoted to the rank of Marshal of the Royal Air Force in 1988 and is the last living officer in the British Armed Forces to have held a five-star rank whilst on active service. He was granted life peerage after his retirement from active service.

Abdelaziz Bouteflika died on this day 1 year ago, aged 84. Bouteflika served in Algeria's war of independence, and after it gained it in 1962, he entered politics- becoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs one year later, holding office until 1979. In 1981, Bouteflika was convicted of misappropriating 60 million Algerian dinars during his time in that post, but was pardoned by president Chadli Bendjedid. In 1999, president Liamine Zéroual resigned, calling for early elections. Bouteflika ran, and was supported by the Algerian military. He won with 81% of the vote- though all of his opponents withdrew from the race citing concerns of voter fraud before then. Bouteflika would be re-elected in 2004, 2009, and 2014, receiving over 80% of the vote each time. When Bouteflika announced he planned to run for a fifth term in 2019, citizens began mass protests. These led to several of Bouteflika's cabinet members resigning. Bouteflika soon announced that he decided not to run again, and on April 2, he resigned due to continued protests. These protests were caused in part due to Bouteflika's failing health. In 2005, rumors of Bouteflika having stomach cancer began to surface, though it was actually an ulcer. Rumors of stomach cancer recurred in 2008 as well. Bouteflika had a stroke in 2013, and spent a lot of time receiving treatment in Switzerland. He was also subject to numerous death hoaxes over the years, and by late 2020, was reportedly in a "vegetative state". Bouteflika appeared three times on the DeathList: in 2006, 2020, and 2021- he was the last survivor of the 2006 list.

There's this record on Familytreenow: NAME: Henry Silva BORN: Sep 1926 AGE: 95 LIVES IN: Los Angeles, CA LIVED: Beverly Hills CA, Tarzana CA Variety also seems a little confused. They say he was 94, which would support 1928, but they also say he died on Wednesday, so he would have been 93. THR's article gives a full DOB and correctly indicates that he died Wednesday before his birthday. Given that, I conclude that they did their research, and Variety didn't. 1926 it is IMO. EDIT: New York Times obituary gives his DOB as September 23, 1926, and mentions the erroneous 1928 date. Variety has also updated their article to say 95.
