On this day in 1999 british raconteur and performer Quentin Crisp died aged 90. Notably effeminate , his most famous work is the film The Naked Civil servant which starred John Hurt. Prior to his somewhat fame and life in the public eye, Quentin worked for decades as a naked still life artists model hence the choice of name for the above film about his life. Openly gay ,the british military declined to let him sign up to help during world war two, exempting him against his wishes on the 'medical grounds ' of sexual perversion. If kim attacks the south he and north korea are over. China won't support or go to war for north korea it has everything to lose and nothing to gain . Plus a nuclear strike on south korea or north korea and there is a good chance the radiation is drifting up into china. Chances are there if north korea attacks it will be routed pretty fast but not with nukes , north korea will quickly collapse and china will invade from the north to ''protect its interests'' and stop immigrants . The two major flash points are if american and south korean soldiers encounter chinese troops in north korea and there is a confrontation . The second flash point is if on the verge of collapse north korea decides to nuke south korea and release biological weapons. I had quite an intense death-related dream last night and I'm not sure what to make of it to be honest. So I was in this weird country, that was like a cross between Germany and a video game and I was a slave in the basement of the airport. My basic job was to serve the owner of the airport, Luke Skywalker, by running errands for him. Skywalker was not dressed as one would expect him to be, but as a German Nazi officer (minus the swastika) as were all of his personal guards. So I lived in the basement of this airport and did various tasks for him. The whole thing was set up like a video game. On this particular day, I was supposed to be delivering messages among the senior officers. When I got in the elevator, certain buttons blinked and I was expected to press them in the correct sequence. When I did, I was brought to the main floor of the airport, without my restraints. I figured that this was my chance to escape, so I tried to sneak out of the airport. I dodged behind suitcases and in shadows, but it was to no avail. One of the guard robot spheres spotted me and began firing lasers at me. I decided to grab a blue laser and make a run for it. The whole scene turned into a top-down 2D view of the surrounding forest as I dashed out of the airport, firing my laser at various blocky robot guards. Lucky, the blue laser was the most powerful and tore through their ranks. I took some hits too, but those were from red lasers, so I was only slightly injured. Finally I made it to this warehouse that had a big white door and a lightsaber. I grabbed the lightsaber and the door raised to let me in. Then it slammed shut behind me and I was in a round room with a similar door leading to a new room. That door opened as well and let me in, and again slammed shut. There was a third door but, before I could open it, the door that I had entered through opened again and a Rancor came in. I fought and defeated him with my green lightsaber and he died and faded away. Then, Luke Skywalker came in. He was no longer dressed in a uniform, but in his white Jedi outfit, and he had a purple lightsaber. He defeated me and I blacked out. When I came to, I was back in front of the first door, this time with only a cheap sword. Again I went through the first two doors but, this time, instead of a Rancor, the third door opened. This door led into the back storage room and I realized the the entire place was just a cover for a warehouse full of red boxes of documents. I freaked out as one of the officers walked by, but then I realized that they couldn't see me because I was on top of a very high pile of boxes. Then I saw one of my enemies (like from real life) so I decided that I was in a good position to kill her. I threw two of the boxes at her, just barely missing, then tried to squash her by collapsing the whole stack on her, which didn't work either. As she alerted the guards, I climbed down, throwing big red file boxes at the guards to kill them and almost smashing through the final box which was labeled with some word that began with a K and had red and yellow squiggly lines on it. When I got down, I killed more guards with my sword and ran back outside. I recovered my blue laser and fired at the guard robots that surrounded me, this time avoiding all of their beams and destroying most of them. Finally I get to the balcony of the airport and one of my bearded friends (I forget who) was there. He tells me that I did in fact kill my enemy, even though she was able to alert the guards, but that I was very lucky and he thought I should beg Skywalker for forgiveness when he came to get me, otherwise I might die. I had the feeling that I would die and that I would lose in a battle with Skywalker. Skywalker charged up to me, this time wearing his orange pilot's outfit, and grabbed me and held me over the edge of the balcony, which hovered over a street about 70 feet below. He screamed at me to repent my killings and I said "I want to commit suicide, I want to die!" He said "that can be arranged" and loosened his grip. I used that to grab him and fling HIM over the edge, although I had to pull myself over the edge to accomplish this as well. We fell to our deaths, although I landed on top of him, so I survived for a few seconds before I died/woke up. I know that's a bit long, but I wanted to get it written down. And no, I haven't been playing video games or watching Star Wars.
