Antoninus Pius died on this day 1862 years ago, aged 74. - Antoninus was born as "Titus Aurelius Fulvius Boionius Arrius Antoninus". - Antoninus married Faustina the Elder, the niece of the emperor Hadrian, around the year 110. Hadrian adopted Antoninus in 138, therefore he married his adoptive cousin. - Antoninus ordered the construction of the Antonine Wall in modern-day Scotland in 142. It took twelve years to complete, and marked the northernmost border of the Roman Empire; it would later be abandoned in 162 and the Romans retreated to Hadrian's Wall. - With a reign of over 22 years, Antoninus was the second-longest reigning Roman emperor at the time, after Augustus (his length would be surpassed by Constantine the Great in 329). - As Antoninus entered old age, he began to wear corsets to maintain his balance. - Antoninus' last meal before his death was a plate of Gruyere cheese.

Tbh this is the first time I actually feel like this might be it for Superstar. At the very least they seem like actual health issues and not him overreacting for stubbing a toe or something

Tom Lehman, the consistent American professional golfer, a former number 1 ranked golfer (for a single week), who is the only professional player in history to be voted "Player of the Year" on all three tours operated by the PGA Tour, who won the Open Championship, his most important victory and his only major title, in 1996, is 64 today. Donna Murphy, the brilliant film, stage, television actress and singer, an exceptional stage actress who won two Tony Awards for her performances in Stephen Sondheim's "Passion" (1994) and "The King and I" (1996), probably best known for her role as District Attorney Morgan Graves on NBC's daytime television drama "Another World", and, most recently, as Mrs. Astor on "The Gilded Age", who was born in New York City, is 64 today.

I think they tagged the wrong Penelope because that certainly isn't Penelope Wilton in that photograph. Unless she's lost a lot of weight.

Funny how songs both immediately sprung into our heads. I was thinking of "Danger! High Voltage" by Electric Six.

Sue Carroll was on the first DDP team I ever sent in - properly, not counting the 2011 horror show. She died a week early, and I found out by my phone's web browser during the family Christmas weekend dinner. Had to pretend my inadvertent "Dammit!" aloud was due to stubbing my toe. Always get annoyed thinking of her.
