2 pointshttps://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/only-working-royals-allowed-balcony-29641046 Nothing especially revelatory here but I thought it was worth highlighting/ drawing attention to on a deadpooling forum. In this article about which members of the royal family will be on the balcony for the Coronation it says that that sources claim the attendance of the Duke of Kent and his sister Princess Alexandra won't be confirmed until the actual day owing to individual health problems.

1 pointhttp://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/north_y...ire/5365676.stm Top Gear presenter hurt in crash Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash in a jet-powered car while filming for the programme. The presenter, 36, was taken by air ambulance to a Leeds hospital which has a special neurological unit. A North Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman said he was unconscious when they got to the scene but was regaining consciousness at the hospital. A BBC spokesman confirmed the presenter had been injured during a shoot. Now if he hangs on a couple of months he could be a good bet for 2007

1 pointVery distant, but yes. Jimmy is June's great-grandfather's 9th cousin's great-grandson (so they shared a relative in late 1400s). Edit: And Jimmy is also half-second cousin to Motown's Berry Gordy, but that relation is pretty known afaik. What people don't realise is that through that relation (and, of course, several marriages), we can link few more interesting names to Jimmy's family tree, like Marvin Gaye (was married to Gordy's sister Anna and had a son with Gordy's niece Denise), Jermaine Jackson (was married to Gordy's daughter Hazel 1973-1988 and had 3 children with her), Diana Ross (wasn't married to Gordy, but gave birth to his eldest daughter Rhonda) or, out of all people, both members of LMFAO (who are Gordy's son and grandson).

1 pointSmith and MacLaine are only in their late 80s and seem pretty active. Why would they have already been added to the list? I think Moreno, Burstyn, and Loren are high profile enough to appear soon enough, although none of them seem unhealthy. Doubt they'll ever go for Saint or Grant at this rate. I feel like Estelle Harris only made the list because Stiller also did so I'm not sure I'd classify her as completely random.

1 pointHurd, Whale and Attenborough are the only three would feel like bad drops if they go. Frail and famous, terminally ill and famous, and very old and A list, respectively. Crosby many of us said should be dropped. Berlusconi was another common "get rid" pick.

1 pointI'll say Celeste Holm and Franco Zeffirelli, for some names not already mentioned. There was a mid-2011 NYT article about Holm that detailed her long health history (skin cancer, collapsed lung, memory loss, etc.) and given that she was already 94 then, it wasn't exactly surprising she didn't see 2013. Zeffirelli was very famous and lived well into his 90s, and he looked borderline dead for the last three years or so of his life, so they had plenty of opportunity to pick him and didn't. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1 pointIt is quite sweet as Rosalynn always said she fell in love with Jimmy before she met him as his sister Ruth was her best friend and she remembers seeing a picture of him in his naval uniform on the Carter family mantlepiece.Of course they had technically met before that when Jimmys Mum Lilian delivered Rosalynn and introduced her to the then just under 3 year old Jimmy.

1 pointWooHoo!! Sir Creep should get his 2nd lifetime DDP solo! Of course maybe presiding over the case that allowed the attack on Obamacare (that went to the Supreme Court) isn’t recent enough (2010). If so I have 3 hits but 2 Losts (is that a word?) Here’s when he declared Obamacare unconstitutional. I honestly thought that alone was a shoe-in for a QO but apparently it’s all forgotten in the annals of history. https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sdut-judge-obamas-health-overhaul-unconstitutional-2011jan31-story.html

1 pointAye, Rolf seemed so wholesome I don't recall anyone keeping their kids from watching him. Our youngest and his mates were big fans of Animal Hospital and Rolf's many other good works! Just a suggestion, we should maybe - like - return to posting about Richard Hammond and/or any other petrolhead presenter in danger of death from poor safety or misuse of a high powered vehicle.

1 pointGeting dental work done on someone with frontotemporal dementia is probably nearly impossible unless you sedated them. I think it is less about them not caring and more a demonstration that he just isn`t mentally stable enough to get the necessary work done on it plus if he had a false tooth odds are he wouldn`t be able to look after it or let anyone else look after it.He could of course be at risk of eating it as people with fronto-temporal dementia and other forms of dementia are at risk of eating small objects and inappropriate things.

1 pointI'm arguing, because I'd never seen that photo before, and had never heard of this incident. When you say "most famous corpse", do you mean where there's been a photo of said corpse in the public domain? Either way, I'd say JFK is way more famous.
