4 pointsDoes nothing but prove my point that the only reason he's on the list is because he's 98. He seems in excellent physical and mental condition for someone who is literally 98 years old. I'm not going to make any declarative statements because the last time I did it backfired horribly on me... But I feel pretty safe about Dick probably even vacating top 10 in 2024.

2 pointsDeath notice for the Hon. Harry St Clair Fane aged 70: https://announcements.telegraph.co.uk/marketplace/advert/fane-notices_54894 Interesting one this. He was the Second Page of Honour to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1966 and 1968. His older brother is the current 16th Earl of Westmoreland, and, as the current Earl only has a daughter, Harry was the heir apparent. Therefore the heir apparent to the Earldom now moves to Harry's son Sam (b. 1989).

1 pointDACHL-List candidate Eckart Dux (b. 1926) had to cancel an appearance at a "King of Queens" screening in September. He only had two voice roles this year, once as Moriarty in "Star Trek: Picard", a role he already voiced 30 years ago and in "The Great Escaper" where he starred alongside fellow DACHL-List candidate Jürgen Thormann (b. 1928). Thormann officially retired in 2022 but might have made an exception this time, as this movie will be Michael Caine's last film, for whom he has provided his voice for almost 60 years. https://www.der-reporter.de/neustadt/neustadt-in-holstein/artikel/mit-hoerprobe-stimme-von-kevin-james-zu-gast-in-neustadt

1 pointI never realised that McGowan was not only brought up in Tunbridge Wells and went to a prep school there, he also won a scholarship to Westminster School, one of the 3 poshest public schools in the country. Seems like he spent the rest of his life trying to disown his upper middle class upbringing and take on the persona of an Irish vagabond (a bit like when Nigel Kennedy started speaking mockney and supporting Aston Villa).
