Forgive me for asking for help for a charity I support. Kabul Small Animal Rescue is an animal shelter and veterinary clinic in Kabul. It's run by a heroic American woman called Charlotte Maxwell-Jones. The account in Our Story very much downplays the hell that Charlotte went through during and after the NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan. They are desperately overcrowded - as you can imagine, it's impossible to rehome many of their cats and dogs locally - and they have organised an airlift to the USA at the beginning of June to send 200 dogs and 100 cats to new homes or shelters in the USA. He was a unique hit for Yorkshire Banker. Next one is prominent author Paul Auster, a hit for three players. He had quite the distinguished career that only missed out on the Nobel Prize. But the highlights stretch from the New York Trilogy in the mid 80s to monumental 4 3 2 1 in 2017. Another dead author, and another hit, is British crime writer CJ Sansom. A somewhat bigger deadpooling name two years ago, he was now a unique hit for Toast, congratulations! That seems to conclude the update. Kris Hallenga pushes the two teams she was on to the top. And while I am at 1st now, Cpt. Chorizo still has an unused joker in Rob Burrow. Edit: I now realize that msc and Cpt. Chorizo also have a non-obit in Amy Ettinger. I think the issue for Labour is any time a seat goes from Tory to Labour, it further cements the narrative for the general election, so even if there was an appetite to say no, they can't lose the publicity and narrative. From Elphicke's perspective, it is blatant opportunism. If she's reached the conclusions she says she has, her defection should have seen her back Reform not Labour.

According to a post on the Family Search ancestry site, Goldsmith died off-radar 2022. His aviation website say he's living. I'd be surprised if he died without any notice, but I guess its possible.
