I agree, I honestly have a feeling that Greenspan will die next year at 99, the same with Baxter, as for other choices like Pete Murray, Sandy Gall and Hans Blix I can't be too sure enough, although Murray looked good in his birthday photo, with other choices like Castro or Hackman I have noticed that they have lost a lot of weight in the last year, they were thinner, but others like Clint Eastwood and Buzz Aldrin I could honestly see them easily surviving 2025 and seeing 2026.

@MortalCaso your killing me my friend ... Alan Greenspan is one of my favorites of the list. Just have a feeling about that man this coming year for some reason.

He's actually a neighbor of mine. I saw him recently on a walk and can confirm he is alive and well. Largely keeps a low profile, as his legacy has been tarnished due to his loyalty to his brother, and his lack of co operation with Federal authorities.

Something to keep an eye on. I saw him while walking around Bury St. Edmunds today. Nothing much to report, really, except that he was making use of a motorised wheelchair, but that may just be due to his age. Not that he's much in contention for it, but I wouldn't advise dropping him next year.

Well, since the last ones are left, there are only 8 left to drop, I will give my opinion on each of the candidates 1) Noam Chomsky: stroke and on the brink of death, should obviously be kept on the list 2) Jimmy Carter: in hospice care for almost 2 years, declining and looking worse every time, and he is already 100 years old, obviously be keep on the list 3) Joane Woodward: in the final stages of Alzheimer's 4) Roberta Flack: with ALS, 88 in February 5) Ted Turner: dementia with Lewy bodies 6) Sonny Rollins: According to what I have read here, he has pulmonary fibrosis, but he seems to be staying strong. 7) Patricia Routledge: I honestly don't know what illness she has, besides the fact that she will turn 96 in 2025. 8) Norman Tebbit: Some say he is in poor health. 9) Dennis Skinner: rumors of dementia, but seems to be staying strong 10) Cleo Laine: She looked horrible on her 96th birthday, but on her 97th birthday she looked very good, 98 in 2025, I prefer to keep her on the list. 11) Esther Rantzen: cancer, and it doesn't seem to me that she is exaggerating unlike James Whale and Linda Nolan. 12) Stanley Baxter: Mr Majeika actor, will turn 99 in 2025 and disappeared from the public spotlight, his last public photo from 2021. 13) Tom Brokaw: Blood cancer, but I honestly don't know how it is evolving. 14) Linda Nolan: Cancer, she seems to be exaggerating, but her case convinces me a little more unlike James Whale, if we reach at least 8 hits this year, she could keep on the list. 15) Gene Hackman: In my opinion he is weakening, there was a noticeable change from his photo at the beginning of 2023 when he was 93 years old to the photo that was taken at the end of March when he was 94 years, he lost weight and his skin already has a darker tint, he will be 95 years in 2025 and when he finishes he will be almost 96 years, it would seem like a mistake to remove him from the list, he is not like Clint Eastwood and Robert Wagner, who are the same age but are healthier and firmer, it's more like Bob Newhart in my opinion. 16) Denis Law: dementia, but I'm not sure how his illness has evolved. 17) Jean-Marie Le Pen: He suffered a heart attack last year and is in poor health. Although he looked good in his last photo from this year, drop him is very risky after keeping him on the list for so many years. 18) Pete Murray: I think he is quite healthy, his 99th birthday photo looked good, but he will be 100 years in 2025. 19) Vanessa Redgrave: She apparently has a lung problem, she uses a cane in her last public photos, I'm not sure whether to keep her in the list or drop her. 20) Imelda Marcos: many hospitalizations this year for pneumonia, I don't think she will go very far, 96 in 2025, keep her on the list. I have noticed that 96 has been a common age of death for celebrities. 21) Sandy Gall: I'm not sure if he has health problems, I haven't seen recent photos of him, he is 97 years old and will turn 98 in 2025, in case they plan to drop him, be one of the first to return him to the list in case they let's have more hits at the end of the year, the same with Hans Blix. 22) Dick Van Dyke: rumors that it is starting to decline, too many years on the list, keep it. 23) Mel Brooks: in similar conditions to DVD 24) Nigel Starmer-Smith: with dementia, he didn't look good at all in his photos at the end of 2021 and now I suppose he looks much worse, they have kept him on the list for too many years to risk removing him. 25) Raul Castro: multiple health problems in September of this year, weight loss, rumors of death in Cuba denied, several of his allies died that same month, keep him on the list, I have the feeling that he will die next year. 26) Alan Greenspan: In recent years he has seemed quite fragile, he disappeared from the public spotlight this year, now his wife hardly mentions him in her interviews which gives me a sign that he is declining, I have the feeling that next year he will die at 99 years, not everyone who makes it to 99 makes it to 100. 27) Josef Fritzl: I think he can survive the year, I saw that some members here had said that they would replace him with Sidney Cooke, and I agree with them. 28) Hans Blix: the same as Sandy Gall 29) James Whale: Cancer, I follow him on Twitter and he looks good, he seems to exaggerate his case a little, he has been saying for 3 years that this could be his last Christmas. 30) Pope Francis: health problems, and lost part of a lung, 88 this month and 89 at the end of 2025, drop it but return it in case we have more hits this year. 31) Buzz Aldrin: 95 years old in 2025, in good health, I would replace him with Jim Lovell for 2025, I can see him reaching 96, but I will consider keep him as well in case the 2024 list reaches 10 hits. 32) Clint Eastwood: He's still in good shape, he keep filming, drop him in 2025 and bring him back in 2026 and from then on keep him forever in the future lists. 33) Desmond Morris: without known health problems, 97 years in 2025, and will be almost 98 at the end of 2025, coinciding that his birthday is in January, he already used a cane in one of his last public photos, I would take the risk of dropping it, but like Aldrin, Sandy Gall and The Pope will keep it in case they got more hits this year.

Cheers for the update. Last time I saw him was in 2021/2, not too long before he retired from the House of Lords. He looked like Skeletor then, but he was still walking (albeit with a stick). Didn't think he'd last this long. If he's still out and about then there's a good chance he'll see 94 in March. However, I wouldn't support dropping him from the list.

The first 10 were not too hard, but I think the next 10 will not be so pretty. Some I am guessing will be hard to see gone off the list

Pegged-It Woolley 13/50 8th November 2024 Archers legend June Spencer has died. Spencer began working in radio from the age of 18, and in 1950 when BBC’s The Archers began she was cast in the role of Peggy Archer (later Woolley) without an audition. She played the character for three years, before leaving to pursue a family life. In her absence the character of Peggy was temporarily recast, but Spender occasionally returned to the series to play a different character, Irish baker Rita Flyn. In 1962 Thelma Rogers, who was voicing Peggy, left and Spencer returned to the series to play Peggy, and would then stay for the next 60 years. Throughout her time on the radio drama Peggy dealt with storylines involving her husband’s Altzhimer’s, having a stroke and the horror of a female vicar. In June 2019 she turned 100. In 2022 Spencer decided to retire, aged 103, she was the last member of the original cast. For her services to drama she was awarded an OBE in 1991 and a CBE in 2017. June Spencer died today aged 105. She was making her third appearance on the Crowdsourced Deathlist, this year at no.13
