Oh yeah I think that is the plan, as long as you're happy continuing the charts countdown! Personally, I'd like to see all the No.4s and No.5s through the decades. Maybe the Top 10 column in Bib's idea could just be 6-10? I'll still do the Champion of Champions for the final five songs in the 1s/2s/3s games, unless people want me to hold off on that until the 4s and 5s are done.

Ruth clearly pushed her, because trying to kill her via champagne wasn't working fast enough.

    This round will end tomorrow at 23:59 GMT. So, I think it's time for another... CHRISTMAS BONUS - All of your kills and assists since the start of the game have been added up, and whatever you score is what you have extra to use tomorrow, on top of your 15 points. So if you had a score of 5, you'd have 20 points to play with tomorrow. - The only condition is that you can only kill a song that has ≤15 points. This is the complete scoreboard (which will update until midnight tonight), to refer to when working out your scores in tomorrow's frantic flurry: @Drewsky1211 - 19 (34 points!!!) @theoldlady - 15 @Dead Wait - 14 @Commtech Sio Bibble - 13 @Toast - 12 @AstroKat - 9 @ladyfiona - 9 @livingbygrace - 9 @TQR - 8 @Great Uncle Bulgaria - 8 @Bibliogryphon - 7 @BuffaloPhil - 7 @Paul Bearer - 6 @justonecornetto - 6 @diego - 4 @TiredNoise - 4 @wannamaker - 4 @Book - 1 @Clorox Bleachman - 1

I like your idea, but I was under the impression that we were going to do the Number 4's as their own separate thing, and I might be a bit biased since I remember seeing tons of great songs peaking at that position (I'm sorting the 60s game and I've seen some classic songs peaking at number 4), so I do think they merit their own game. But if the other users prefer finishing the number 3's and then going straight to this game then I will have no problems with that.

If they really want an evil US politician on the list I feel like Mitch McConnell would probably be a better pick than Dick Cheney

This is a great idea! I'm probably going to regret this but I'll volunteer. I may need some help to set up the first game though. I'm a little confused about this rule though, I don't remember a maximum points rule?

Here is an idea I have had but it does need a volunteer to run this. I have three active pools and a backlog of project work. I have really enjoyed all the Kill or Save games but a lot of fantastic songs did not trouble the upper reaches of the charts. So to avoid trawling through all the dross we ho with player nominated tracks but rather than a free for all there are strict nominations rules I have drawn up a draft table for the Seventies Year Top 10 (ex 1-3) 11-20 21-30 31-40 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 1975 1976 1977 1978 1979 Each player gets to nominate one track in each box but the same artist cannot be represented in the same row or column. It doesn't matter if the same track gets nominated by more than one player it just reduces the numbers in the round. You can either run single years or double years. I would also suggest the no maximum points until after the first elimination to avoid victimising

Alma Mahler died on this day 60 years ago, aged 85. - Alma was born as Alma Schindler to the noted Austrian painter Emil Schindler. She would decide to follow her father into the arts by composing piano music: - However, Alma was more well-known for her many relationships (and three marriages) with artists and musicians of her day. She was the girlfriend of the painter Gustav Klimt and the composer Alexander Zemlinsky- but the first one she married was Gustav Mahler in 1902. Mahler disapproved of Alma's aspirations of becoming a composer (possibly not wanting her to become more famous than him). After the death of their young daughter Maria in 1907, Alma would begin having an affair with the architect Walter Gropius, with Gustav seeking counselling from none other than Sigmund Freud. - Gustav Mahler died in 1911, and after Alma had a brief relationship with painter and playwright Oskar Kokoschka, she would remarry to Gropius in 1915. She had a daughter (Manon) with him. But he would be drafted into World War I, and once again she sought a romantic relationship while her husband was off fighting- this time with author Franz Werfel, having an illegitimate son with him. Alma and Walter would divorce in 1920. - Alma would not marry Werfel until 1929, and the two would flee Austria in 1938, leaving for France before fleeing there to the U.S. in 1940. After Franz's death in 1945, Alma would move to New York City, where she remained until her death. Her body would be repatriated to Austria. - After reading her obituary, Tom Lehrer would write a song about her life for his album That Was The Year That Was:

Jacqueline White (Wiki) turned 102 today! She may not have had the fame of Ava Gardner, Eleanor Parker or Doris Day, but she still remains one of the most beloved and unfortunately the last actresses from the Golden Age of Classic Hollywood and from 1922 class. Here are some photos on her 102nd birthday, she looks very good in my opinion, she still continues to sign autographs (a few days ago) Fun Fact: I read somewhere that she was chosen to play Old Rose in Titanic (1997), but she turned it down because she had retired from acting in the 1950s when she was still young, so her role went to the legend Gloria Stuart (who was also her friend)
