4 pointsMy bad but also a major case of life getting in the way of dead pooling over the last week. Anyway, in traditional style of almost all previous winners Summer in Transyvania has generously suggested a charitable donation as a prize and nominated the William Templeton Foundation for Your People's Mental Health as the recipients. Finally done and dusted, evidence below, link to his chosen charity at the end of this message, and - thankfully - I'm spared anymore totting up of the points (Yarrow, Black Bart and Nolan were all mightily fancied choices hereabouts). That charity: https://www.ypmh.org/about-us/

2 points42 players so far. If this stays, the 20 players with the lowest seeding will compete for 10 slots to make a nice 32. Meaning 22 players have a free pass. So if you made the Top 16 last year you have a freebie, also if you did well but still lost. If even more players sign up these freebies will decline in number. But the Top16 of last year should still be safe. Edit: I will determine the seeding order at the weekend, i.e. maybe tomorrow.

2 pointsThank you all! It was a very close race in a bit of a difficult year. Hoping to get three in a row! But I'm not sure how many more I've got in me.

2 pointsWe are now on pace for 48 hits, which leaves just two people still alive at the end of the year. Obviously, those two will be Noah Chomsky and Nigel Starmer-Smith.

2 pointsI find it a common misconception about death poolers that we're in a constant state of willing people (especially our picks) to die. I don't wish anyone dead. Sure, there are a few monsters that the world would be a better place without, but I'm here to predict death, not hope for it. If someone on the list survives the year, good for them.
