True, that was the one that I think is the least DL-y, but he had a successful American Football Career and, following that, worked as a bodyguard for RFK, present at the assassination, and was the subduer of Sirhan Sirhan. I think that he meets the fame criteria, albeit only just.

Carl Douglas does seem to be a little bit reclusive. He's the guy who sang "EVERYBODY WAS KUNG FU FIGHTIIIIIIIIIIIING" and he hasn't really been seen in public recently. He did an interview recently, but I didn't see his face in there. He's 80 years old. His most recent statement:

“I feel blessed to have reached this milestone and wish everybody good health and happiness.“
