In the first pic Roger Donlon (in the wheelchair) continues to embrace being an immortal, attending the convention seemingly with ease despite Parkinson's and a stay in hospice back in August. Jay Vargas (bottom far left) is now using a cane. Barney Barnum (bottom far right) has been frail and using a cane for a while now so nothing new with him. In the second pic, I think that's 97 year old Ralph Puckett in the wheelchair 2nd from the right. Nothing I see of note besides that, though they are an aging bunch. Perhaps not a big enough name for the committee but he is certain to obit - he created Mersey Beat magazine in 1961, thus coining the famous name for the Merseyside rock scene, and had a close association with the Beatles - he arranged for Brian Epstein to see them perform at the Cavern Club. He’s one of the last people alive who had a big impact on the Beatles’ story pre-fame. He is active on social media but I believe he has been quite unwell for some time. Annoyingly my first sub I think on my main DDP team, but of course he didn’t come into play as nobody died pre-New Year. Had a couple of Beatles related folk on my team already, so passed him up for the bench. Wishing him long life. Those early days’ pieces of information he knows are valuable. I already did put in my names for the Cup..It is definitely a different one being you have to try and pick people you think will die in one month instead of in a year. Yes Please give the experience to therewillbedeath7. I am really still a baby at this. This is my first year playing in the pools. I on my own did my own shadow list for last 2 years, and I can tell you my number of hits were not great. Nothing to write home about I a sure you. All I am hoping for is to maybe improve and have some fun doing so.
