Dead Pop Stars

Lots of people on my facebook page are saying 80's one hit wonder Damian (The Time Warp) has died...can't find confirmation as yet.

It's on wikipedia, too (so it must be true!)

Sonny Geraci, lead singer of The Outsiders and Climax, has died aged 69.

Who?

As long as it's not Klymaxx....

SC

Have a certified gold single and 5 top 40 hits, including 2 in the top 5 and be mocked on a forum about death - it's a good job poor Sonny is dead so he can't feel this pain.

I know the songs you fool, I'm as old as your mother. The OCD on this website is amazing.

Valerie Carter, an American singer-songwriter who had 4 studio albums but is perhaps better known for providing backing vocals to many artists including Diana Ross, Linda Ronstadt, Ringo Starr and James Taylor, has died aged 64.

Tommy Page, who had a US #1 single in 1990 with the NKOTB-featuring "I'll Be Your Everything", has offed himself aged 46.

Had no idea that dude was a teen idol/1 hit wonder.Just assumed it was a made up singer when I saw the episode of Full House as a kid with his guest spot. Because of this news, now I have the urge to look on wikipedia and see  if Johnny Dakota from Saved By The Bell is real.

Again they are all dying too quickly for my theme team - the Sledges finished outside the top 30 in 1981 and wouldn't have another UK hit single until 1984.

In any event, this is shocking news. Humbly thank you for your contribution to music, RIP.

They appeared on a Spotify playlist I was listening to last night.

Hmm, perhaps this is the new version of the Death Note...

News coming through that Clem Curtis, lead singer of The Foundations, has died.

More when there is a more definite report or trusted source.
