Billy had better keep breathing for a few more months yet.

I was one of little faith and did not put him on any of my lists. :)

here are some quotes from Frankie during her short but interesting life:

"Tomorrow is a privilege, so live today like tomorrow isn't happening."

"I know lots of things about me are a little strange, but hey, it's just me..."

"It's good to have ideas that you stand by and stand firm on, but don't be a hypocrite."

"I may make mistakes, but I am an honest person, and I feel bad for the mistakes that I make, especially when they hurt someone else."

as you can see she had much wisdom.May of you on this forum would be wise to heed her words!

I'll let someone else have the pleasure of booting this arse-witted hamster firmly through the plate-glass window of derision

some sad and tragic news just in- the Real World star Frankie Abernathy is dead at 25.Her death will come as a shock to many, and a source of deep sadness to most. My God she will be so sadly missed.

Unlike you Iain you complete & utter cuntwanker.

Besides it's not "just in" you cuntbag, it was reported a few days ago by the press, but because she was a reality TV nobody & a particulary ditzy one at that, that no-one here gives a sh*t, let alone be shocked, saddened & missed.

Also, you said Harry Ewing was your local MP. Strange, because when that biker was killed a while back, he was from Northern Ireland, where Ewing wasn't...

Me thinks you've heard of none of these people and you are a sad pathetic creature whose only joy in life is when, walking along in the street, someone DOESN'T cross the road to avoid your putrid & stupid features.

Goodnight!!!

the man who led China to victory over Japan in world war 2 has died aged 103 http://www.legacy.com/Obituaries.asp?Page=...ry&Id=13032

uh, I think you'll find that at the end of the war the Japanese still occupied large parts of China, and only surrendered when America nuked 'em. Meanwhile the Russians were steaming through the Japanese forces in Manchuria. So China won the war the same way as did the Italians.

And the French.

And the Belgians.

I completely agree with your sentiment Ronnie except that the Italians were part of the Axis and they lost.

Nellie Lutcher, never heard of her until I read the obit. If the Telegraph are trawling the likes of her I think all the inhabitants of Brinsworth House - up to and including Pepe Poupe - are point scoring material.

Canadian musician Richard Bell, has died of cancer. He played in Janice Joplin's group and later joined The Band.

I wouldn't have mentioned his death if wasn't for the fact that the score is now 3-3 in The Grateful Dead/The Band dead keyboard players series. Bell replaced Stan Szelest who died in 1991. Szelest died suddenly of a heart attack less than a year after joining the re-united group. Ironically, he just had time to pen "To Soon Gone", a heartfelt tribute to his predecessor, Richard Manuel, who hung himself in 1986.

A fine goal from The Band but I'm afraid that only gets them back to 4-3, as Pigpen, Keith Godchaux, Brent Mydland and Vince Welnick are all late ivory-ticklers for the most aptly-named band on earth. I'd take my chances on the skins for Spinal Tap before I'd sign up as a Dead keyboard player.

The last realistic chance of an equaliser for The Band lies with Garth Hudson, but he's still gigging regularly at 70 and seems on top form. Party on, Garth.

On the world fame meter, the highest would be something along the lines of:

"Pope" (although can anyone off the top of their heads come up with the real first and last names of any pope?)

"US President"

"Highest paid film star"

"Paris Hilton"

"World's best footballer"

and the lowest would be:

"The only time you'll ever hear this person's name is when he/she dies"

Nonetheless, many congrats on the expert work by MPFC with a unique DDP pick.
