Star Wars Deaths

Shame to see her gone and her writing career is so underrated. Postcards from the edge is a excellent book.

BTW, as further evidence of how inane Wikipedia is, I just discovered, via a Star Wars message board, that there is an entire Wikipedia article devoted to Princess Leia's metal bikini: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Leia's_bikini

Men will wank to anything

I loved her in Star Wars, but I couldn't honestly name a single other movie outside of the Star Wars franchise she's been in.

She did have a memorable cameo appearance in an episode of The Big Bang Theory, when James Earl Jones and Sheldon rang her doorbell and ran away.

She was good as the jilted bride seeking vengeance in the Blues Brothers

Another possibility David Prowse pennyless and suffering with dementia

Get a big Star Wars death, and we get over 500 online.

I can easily imagine Star Wars 8 becoming the biggest selling film of all time now when it is released, due to the "Heath Ledger effect".

Somehow I knew she wouldn't make the starting line. Half an hour without a pulse was prolly too much for her brain anyways, spared her family of a difficult decision (whether to keep her alive if she is in a PVS and unlikely to ever regain consciousness).

The Man with One Red Shoe, daft but funny 80s comedy.

Right thread: while Vader was voiced by James Earl Jones, David Prowse played the movement of the character.

Loads of tributes on Twitter from other famous faces.

However, none as yet from Harrison Ford.

Is a simple tweet of 'She was the best fuck I have ever had' totally beyond the heartless bastard?

Because she was the 2nd best after Karen Allen?

Maybe feeling a bit guilty over all the drugs they took together during the making of Empire Strikes Back that probably definitely contributed to her downfall?

That's a possibility.

Mind you, it hasn't done him any harm!

Uhm... Ok, it seems heart attacks like to work a lot during Christmas holidays.

Lots of straining on the bog after all

...or having the friggin in-laws in your house for three days

Bowie to most people, but not to me. Outside of Laybrinth I wasn't really a big fan of his music, whereas I've always loved the Star Wars movies, well episodes 4-7 at least.

Dreadful news but possibly for the best if reports that her heart had stopped/stopped breathing for 15 minutes were true.

She seemed like someone who would have been hilarious to go out for a night on the piss with (with her sober or otherwise, wouldn't make a difference).

As for bigger death - I think Bowie nudges it. As brilliant as she was, it was Princess Leia who was an icon, not Carrie Fisher herself.
