Somebody I know had a dream about me which involved a 'Wishing Well' that's drop went so deep a quarter would fall for eternity. I stood beside it very proud as the elderly celebrities stood in a line and jumped into it one after the other.

I must confess to sometimes imagining of all my DDP candidates sitting in an ante room together, enjoying drinks and canapés, whilst awaiting their turn to be 'called'.

 

I can just see Bobby Robson chatting about sport with Norm O'Neill, Mikey Dread and Ronnie Drew planning to collaborate on a new album, Janez Drnovsek and Shih Ming-Teh talking politics etc etc.

 

Does anyone else have a similar vision?

Sorry that it's not strictly on-topic, but it is mildly disturbing, and I suppose if it were a regular event, it could lead to me being beaten to death.

 

Once I was having a very clear dream that included a hovercraft acting in the capacity of Noah's Ark. The dream was so vivid that, whilst remaining sound asleep myself, I woke up the person I was with so that she could see the giraffes' heads poking through the hovercraft's roof.

 

It never happened again, not even with the levitating gorillas or the IRA pop video.

 

Just sharing and moving on...

I had a DDP related dream the other night, though it was rather tame. I was in a doctor's waiting room and various sitcom stars of the 70s an 80s were there - Michael Crawford was the only one I remember clearly and I was dying to tell them they were all someone's pick on DDP but a car crashed through the window and they all ran away.

I just had a dream where Suharto finally died and Albert Hofmann was confirmed to have died a bit earlier in January, which resulted in DeathList 2008 having three hits already.

I dreamt that two people from the list died last night. One was Suharto, but I've forgotten who the other one is.

 

In my dream, I was personally responsible for Suharto's death. I forgot to plug his machine in so he died - rather bizarrely - in the form of a book. I spent most of the dream trying to cover up the fact that his machines were not switched on. I did so by switching them on.

 

I can remember thinking that I could be the first to report his death on here, because I accidentally killed him. The dreams of a saddo.

Had a strange dream that involved OoO being hired to be a full time obituary printer, and him turning the DDP into a twisted version of CNN for obits. I recall him getting quite upset that Rachel Aziani and Hugh Laurie had died and that he had to write up two full obituaries for people in one day, since both were unexpected deaths.

 

Now that I've had a dream about Hugh Laurie dying, however, I can finally have both Jeeves and Wooster on my HDP if I want.

I dreamt that Margaret Thatcher died last night.

 

I woke up at about fourish in the firm belief that she was dead. I then thought it would be a good idea to check teletext. I can remember checking teletext and seeing that she was infact dead, so I must have fallen asleep and dreamt about checking teletext. When I woke up properly at 6am, I was convinced that she was dead. I checked teletext again but there was nothing about her death.

 

It was all just a dream - a very vivid dream - which, for a short time, I believed to be true.

It could have been ten times worse. A face tattoo dream would have been the ultimate thrill-chill nightmare. Not only do face tattoos show total respect for ones self but they also signify that the person who got one probably doesn't have much longer on this earth. I mean people talk about impulse shockers like 'Winehouse .. Spears .. that stereotype ex' I say 'why not' talk about somebody like Mike Tyson who ... is already in the sauna by now.

well the weirdest part of the dream was that I dreamt that I heard it on the news while I was driving back to the office in the afternoon, so was confused as to why it wasn't showing up on the news and then I realised I hadn't even been to the other office yet.

weirdest dream I've had for a while.

 

I dreamt that I was watching the news and for some reason I was back in England.

 

The first news story was that Eunice Kennedy Shriver had died from pneumonia, so they did a brief story about the Special Olympics..

 

The next story was a top British army official found murdered in the tunnels of Elephant and Castle tube station.

 

And finally there was a news report that Roger Cook suffered a massive stroke and was declared dead-on-arrival at whichever hospital he was taken to.

 

Then I woke up totally confused.

 

That's the second dream I've had recently where Eunice Kennedy Shriver has died, maybe it's wishful thinking.. I don't know
