Not if your still logged in. Clear your browser history and you can come back to read and if you happen to have alts or the admins are sleepy enough to let you make one you can then post. If they IP ban you completely then you can't acess the forum at all unless you use a proxy  but I've only had that happen on other sites (Democracy Forum was cool for that until it got deleted as was TSR) not this one.

So why do you think that old obits pop up in currently run searches?  Is it a new edit or summat?  Who would be editing an obit from X years ago?
Just trying to figure out how they pop up in my results.  I just ran a search limiting to the past 24 hours, and a few pages in I see Don Zimmer's obit, well by golly he's been dead a few years now (2014 to be exact), so why is it showing up?  Is it that Google is actually a shite search engine?

To be fair, some of the music threads have titles that may not be instantly obvious.  "Dead Pop Stars" and "Dead Drummers" speak for themselves, but

 

Stairway To Heaven/Highway to Hell is for hard rock and heavy metal musicians.

Didn't Wake Up This Morning for blues musicians.

Old Folkies Home for folk.

Country for Old Men (and Women) is for country (C&W) singers.

Jamaican Jamming for reggae and ska.

The Next Piper At The Gates of Heaven - psychedelia

Great Gigs In the Sky - prog rock

 

There are probably more - oh, there's Death By Jazz .....

 

Plus lots of musicians have their own dedicated threads.

Is it in extracurricular?  OK.

 

Yeah, I'd forgotten the more recent "Close To The End".  I thought at the time that it would have been better to leave the title as its original inspiration.

Being thoroughly English myself I struggle with US only sports such as American Football and Baseball. Unless Red Schoendienst is going to die I tend to just flick over the names. Teams and structure mean nothing to me.

 

I only know of Red because he is a wildcard someone played in my work game.
