Qubbie 0 Posted June 13, 2020 I just think it's so unfair to the tragedy writers. I mean, who will stand up for them? They are being oppressed and no one seems to care. Where is their dedicated thread? Don't their lives (and deaths) matter?

He retired to Whiston (near Liverpool) and gave this interview in 2008. Then here is a bunch of folk on a Facebook reminisces group talking about meeting him "recently" in 2014 and still being willing to chat and tell jokes with fans in the street. Here's a pic of him in a care home in Huyton in 2018. So with that combined, I assume he probably is? And I see Willz put a Twitter link, but I spent 10 mins looking up the Wills for post 2010 and finding his post 2000 digital trace so I'm bloody well posting this.

There seems to be a quite a bit of stuff bubbling under in the stand-up world when it comes to sex pests - there's been a few allusions to it recently. Thing is, it seems a number of perpatrators are in a position power within the industry (and a dodgy industry it is, what with the old Shappi Clause and all that). Dollars to donuts it'll be mainly the holier-than-thou wokesters that get collared when it eventually spills out...

"What the fucking hell is that?" "It's a fucking... extended essay." He also wrote their chess sketch. I loved that show, it was shown at 4am after the nightclubs shut. Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,218 Posted October 16, 2020 I was having a look at the 'career' of the late Lennie Bennett ( no, don't ask why) when a name from that era popped up, namely, Jerry Stevens. If you are old enough to remember both of them, particularly, when they worked together, I need say no more. I cannot find any up to date info on him at all, it is like he just disappeared off the face of the earth. Anybody know anything? Is he another dead comic/singer/compere that went without an obit?
