Guest Steve Posted May 25, 2014 Good on you, brilliant DL Committee members for including Jaruzelski last year, but excluding him this year. Instead you chose to include total unknowns like Wilko Johnson, Chris Woodhead and Joost van der Westhuizen. How about we remove some DL Committee members? Guest Guest Posted May 25, 2014 Oh well at least now he's finally dead we don't have to rely on those dodgy Polish news sites that google translate can't make head or tails of !

(and by that I mean, yes, now, let's do it now) No, this is a setback or something....... actually I'll let them make their own excuses. But there's still lots of quality names on there. Remember everyone in October last year thought we were destined to end up with only 8 or 9 or something.
Death Impends 8,043 Posted May 25, 2014 Had him on DDP, joker in the Deathrace, and in pole position (guffaw) in Hartlepool. Nice news all around...

Remember everyone in October last year thought we were destined to end up with only 8 or 9 or something. I always look to 2003 for inspiration. Took till march for the first hit, didn't get the 4th hit till mid june, but ended up on a record breaking 14. Billy Graham can't last much longer surely ,and it's all gone really quiet on the Nancy Reagan front so she must be on her last legs..
Sean 6,365 Posted May 25, 2014 Third hit of the DDP not a bad first year so far !
Phantom 2,550 Posted May 25, 2014 3rd hit in the DDP and I guessed the correct date he'll go. I picked May 25th for two reasons, 1. I was going on how long it took people like Suharto to go once their health went into a steep decline and 2. May 25th was the only date close enough that hadn't been taken yet. I almost picked the 24th

Guest Guest Posted May 26, 2014 Well done Eddie Mair on radio 4 who's just done the first obit for Jaruzelski on radio or tv , as far as I know anyway. Can't believe ho w little coverage his death has had for such a major cold war figure!
Imelda 626 Posted May 28, 2014 Finally hit number 2. Been a slow start this year.
Spade_Cooley 9,628 Posted November 5, 2015 Woj's old mucker, Czesław Kiszczak, dead at 90. There are now no Communist-era PMs of Poland still living.
