But I kind of think it reflects back badly on the originals, like the later Indiana Jones movies. Sometimes things are better off being left alone, and Ridley Scott doesn't bring anything new to the table anymore. I admit that's a bit elitist. I did quite like House of Gucci and All The Money In The World

It is a pity Ridley Scott can't retire retrospectively. Ideally before he made 1492 and Prometheus

gcreptile 11,381 Posted November 15, 2024 One of my few remaining, living personal heroes. Should he go on the DeathList would he need a new thread? I was just going through the internet, looking for a suitable subtitle. It has to be "Now it's dark" from Blue Velvet.

DevonDeathTrip 2,387 Posted January 9 David Lynch has had to leave his Hollywood home, due to the risk of it burning down. As the Log Lady once said "When this kind of fire starts, it is very hard to put out. gcreptile 11,381 Posted Thursday at 19:32 Sad... someone I would not have been able to pick in a pool. A hero of mine. First movie I watched of his was Dune, still a movie I like to place in my personal top 5. Attended a university course on him, too (as an english major in a different time...). Was watching his stuff until late last year, when my partner and I finished the 3rd season of Twin Peaks. RIP.....
