Phillip, yes, as he's 96 and probably in worse health than is being officially disclosed, and has been officially retired recently. Still should be quite low down though. The Queen is healthy enough to be a wasted pick though IMHO.

Deathrace candidates just don't have the staying power in October/November. Of course, they make it to January, and suddenly they're Lazarus - sods law.

He alluded to his approaching death many times during Mass (I was actually present during some), and he also has only one functioning lung. I think he's up for consideration ( I will not be too surprised if Benedict survives him).

Might be in for a new International Trade minister before long. And rumblings about Green's long term job prospects, which is far more interesting, given he is essentially May's bulwark. Michael Fallon is a useless sod who screws everything up. I half expect he went to defend himself and resigned by accident...

This. Also, as a lot of pieces are pointing out post Weinstein, there were attempts made to speak out about this stuff (maybe not irt Hoffman specifically, but in general), but were buried by the industry. Walters' interview with Feldman is obviously the most famous of it right now, but there's this Guardian piece about a movie exposing child abuse in the industry that was buried despite great reviews+an Oscar nominated director helming the project: https://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/nov/01/an-open-secret-hollywood-child-abuse-documentary It's available for free until the end of the week, and I'll probably try and get through it Saturday when I'm free.

Just to chime in, I have heard Charlie Sheen's name a couple of times in connection to Corey Feldman. Spielberg's name was mentioned there, too, but Feldman has always defended him. Tom Hanks is almost completely news to me. But I have seen his name in a blind gossip item or two.

Barbara Windsor has I think attended practically every Pride of Britain award ceremonies except maybe when she was ill with epstein barr virus around 2004. I was quite surprised to see she didn't attend this year's ceremony (as far as I can make out via Google etc) as she's always been such a stalwart of this event. There could be absolutely nothing in it but worth keeping an eye on imo.

Clearly, some of those making accusations were young, aspiring actors who, after suffering said sexual assaults weighed everything up and decided that their careers were way more important than bringing the perpetrators to book. That makes them look ever so cuntish IMHO.

I couldn't agree more. Good grief, if I made a list of all the blokes who let their hands wander, made "inappropriate" suggestions or dirty jokes to me during the 70s and 80s, it would fill a book - even just those I can remember. It was mostly just exploratory missions to see if they got a favourable response. No big deal. If serious sexual assaults or rape took place, it should have been reported at the time.

I think these people are the most famous/impactful and should be on next year's list and stay there until they die: - The Queen - The two popes - The two 90+ US presidents It will be a colossal embarassment if the list misses any of these 5 people.

That’s why the queen should be number 50 next year. If I was honest, I personally wouldn’t care if the queen wasn’t on my list, but because I know this is a UK site, and that she’s at an age that she could be a cult pick like Hugh Hefner was, I think she should stay, cause I know a certain amount of people from the UK would complain if she wasn’t on the list...

Please welcome to the list of living centenarians Mrs Marsha Hunt, Hollywood starlet who was stabbed in the back by John Huston and blacklisted. Still well enough to give relatively in-depth interviews, and still living at the same two-storey apartment she moved into back in 1946.

I came home from work to a note the wife left on the fridge saying "This isn't working, " I opened the fridge, the light went on and my beer was cold, it's working just fine.

My situation worsened on Sunday October the 15th and I went to hospital around 7.00 p.m. After the X-rays I was hospitalized for precautionary measure. After two other X-ray scans, on Monday, they understood I had bronchial pneumonia and I started treatment, which was pretty successful (bacterial pneumonia needs antibiotics and few other things). I was improving rapidly when, on Tuesday night, I had an episode of atrial fibrillation and arrhitmya, which I never experienced before. They kept me in hospital for other two days and I was finally discharged On Friday October the 20th after five days, with a good prognosis. On Wednesday I was back to work. They still don't understand if the arrhitmya was linked to pneumonia or not; now I'm controlling my blood pressure and heart beat four times a day and I'll have some cardiological visits. I'm feeling well anyway and I'm glad I'm back. Thanks to all of you and congrats to DL for breaking the record while I was absent!

Got into a Drummond hole on Facebook, his daughter never updates her profile. This is his sister's profile, but she shares every single missing dog report in a 500mile radius so it's too tough to find any references to Eddy.
