Read the article in msc’s link and it’s clear there’s no need to panic; her last public appearance isn’t for another year or so yet, apparently.

A delightful anniversary, I might add, in addition to aforementioned rather annoying formal celebrations me and Liz took ourselves off to our palace bedroom and celebrated more traditionally, in the human nature historic sense. We might be old but the whips and chains still do the business, she's been a lot more willing in that department since I bought her 50 shades of grey for Christmas. Onwards and forwards, perhaps, if only she could also retire so we can enjoy some quality time together.

You'll love it. I'm sure they put a slight extra amount of oxygen through the air conditioning to keep the gamblers awake. Sleep won't really be an issue.

Yes, and Gary Glitter knocked David Cassidy off the No.1 spot. 1973 also marks a new record in chart history because for the first time 4 singles went straight in at No.1. Beside of Gary Glitter 3 Slade singles achieved that (Cum on feel the noize, Skweeze me, pleeze me and Merry X-mas everybody).

Aretha Franklin is trending on twitter with rumours about her being in very poor health. Take a look at these search results: https://twitter.com/search?q="Aretha Franklin"&s=09 Just to add that the trending is when you look under American areas like Los Angeles. I don't think it's trending in the the UK and I'm not sure what sparked the sudden upsurge in speculation.

I suppose there's always Robert "Percy" Plant. I have tickets to see him at the RAH in a couple of weeks so I do need him to hang on for a while.

I really like your list, mine shares some similarities but I'm waiting for the end of the year to publish it. Some remarks: Aznavour is as healthy as a 93 year old can be. Still performing and touring all over the world. I saw him in Rome recently and I had the time of my life. What a legend! Good call on Pelé, as well as the other Pope and French ex-President. Pelé has had all sorts health problems since 2014 and has been surprisingly quiet for such a loud-mouthed know-it-all. Steve-O seems to have cleared his act a little bit these days, but there is only so much credibility you can give to a guy who used to eat cow dung and stick rockets up his ass. Nice pick.

Nah, horse racing is racing horses. The English are very fond of it. Equestrian is that fancy shit at the Olympics. One step, two step, mortified looking horse puts a hoof up in the air, and so on. The horses do all the work, then the horse rider gets the gold medal. They'd thus go in the Olympics thread. It's allegedly art, while the former is racing. It's all bollocks to me, but they are different.
