You've got to wonder how many of those within sight of the man are already compiling their sensational books for when he's out of power. Despite the steady turn over of senior staff there must be a few aides and the like keeping their heads down and ears open. Given Trump's total inability to function to anyone else's agenda and the inconsistencies of his statements this is the kind of stuff that adds up to decent insider accounts once it's over. Add to that that the market for any President Trump book is probably wide open because he's unlikely to write an insightful account and any ghost writer employed to do so would likely be shouted at to turn in some gushing tribute that'd become a classic for ironic appreciation. Of course all of the above depends on his presidency ending before the world gets fried in a nuclear war.

Jesus Christ. You can still get them on amazon.com, but I ain't linking. Some of the comments are priceless, though.

From the timestamp, it seems to be the "I'd still do her" comment. And yeah, THAT would be stupid, not bold. (I'm not sure whether she's still fit enough to have sex, but even if she is, she might not be in the mood.)

I'm sure she will be devasted but I'm sure she is more robust physically and too stoical to die of a broken heart. She doesn't seem the type and I don't mean that as an insult to her.

If Prince P goes first then it might bring her end about bit quicker. Loss of soulmate and all that bull. Cannot live without him and his lovely alluring little racist quips etc.

Whilst I generally have a sympathy with the idea the Queen would be too big a name to miss I do think the committee can afford to drop her for 2018 and resume her continuously never to be dropped again status at until she passes away at a later date. It would be less risky to do that sooner rather than later so now is the best time to take this calculated risk in my opinion. I think she's highly likely to live as long as her mother and then some but obviously not guaranteed it. I think she's safe though next year and should be dropped for 2018. It will help free up room for fresh names and stop a big log jam of too many untouchables dominating the list.

I’m getting more and more convinced that, minus the marriage part, this will turn into a similar story to John Wetton. Though I’m still not sure if I’ll pick him on my main 20 next year, especially since we don’t know what the health issues are yet. They do sound at least somewhat severe however...

If I wasn't leaving for California on Saturday I would say come on over - I'll meet you in Denton and I'll buy you a drink. Unfortunately, you will most likely have to wait until the end of January for any alcohol-related solace from me.

That's a bit like those Scousers who bang/ed on about being mere humble working class Scouse bin dipper folk, people like Tarby, Cilla Black etc. As soon as they made a few bob, they fucked off out of there faster than a shit house Rat to reside in more salubrious places like Buckinghamshire. Hey, they didn't forget their roots, did they!

Yeah - and Victor Frankl who came out of a concentration camp and wrote one of the most widely read books on the meaning of life ever published. But loads of people don't step up after the full POW experience. So I stand by the admiration for JM

Finally got it together and mailed a big ole box of goodies back for my daughter for Christmas. Daddy won't be there this year. I DID get to take her (7) to see Santa, and I suspect we have at most one more year of that. So there it is. SC

I am really surprised, but happy as he was a likeable character, George A Cooper is still alive. He played janny Mr Griffiths in Grange Hill from 1985 and left in 1992 at the age of 67. He is now 92 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_A._Cooper This guy -

I'm glad to see you've gotten a new pet; he's really cool! BTW, I'm not Dutch, or an uncle either, but I'd like to express my opinion on something here if you don't mind. If you've got an OCD or something similar, I suppose there's nothing to be done, but if not, read on: If you truly believe that people are being hateful toward you, then I think you should either advise them to f*ck off or ignore them completely. Denigrating yourself, or eclipsing yourself by editing out posts is only affirming the negative (or what you perceive to be negative) opinions of others. Ignore those who do not appreciate animals; they don't get it. As for pointless posts - which this one is rapidly becoming I'm afraid - who is to judge? One man's pointless post is another man's revelation. People have put forth many fascinating theories about the beginning and end of the universe. No one, as far as I know, has ever come up with a credible theory as to the point of it all.

Hmmm - to be fair Teddy I was following the instructions of our long lost friend, Mr Stats...and his idea worked for a while. A good solid performance though from Joe: Abuse 3/5 Lack of rational argument 4/5 Threats 3/5 Makes a total of 10/15 Let down by a tiny bit of humour slipping in there but on the whole a good opening rant - well done Joe
