They honestly deserve it. A similarly very foolish drop was General Wojciech Jaruzelski four years ago. That turned out to be fatal in a very mediocre year, though I suspect this year's list will do better than 2014...

That tends to happen as people age.

It's a great loss to British showbusiness.Few people appreciate what a great actress and singer she was, as well as comedienne. Many people will be saddened and distressed to hear this news. RIP PS her death must have been sudden because she was scheduled to appear in 3 episodes of a new tv series starring Idris Elba this year http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0256082/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t9

Got a new avatar. For those who don't know the old one, it was this. This new avatar is quite remarkable, as it has never been seen on the internet. Today it was announced that a long lost scene from a Stan Laurel film was uncovered in the archives of the Fries Film Museum in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. About 5 miles from where I live. This scene was from the silent movie "Detained". Laurel had yet to form the legendary duo with Oliver Hardy. The scene involves an inmate who is thrown trough a wall. he subsequently and by pure accident lands his head in a noose and his neck is stretched way longer than possible. Copies of the film were usually cut short for home media and this scene was thought lost forever. So here's the avatar. A never seen before picture of mr. Stan Laurel, before he worked with Hardy. 16 minutes are now known of the film that had an original lengt of 20 minutes. These 16 minutes, including this scene, was uploaded to youtube.

I'm surprised that polls for predicting the next death of the crowdsource list hasn't started by now, so I'll start it now. I voted for Charlotte Rae.

Just saw the unveiling of a statue for former Glasgow player Fernando Ricksen at his former club Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands. As is well known over here he is suffering from ALS. He was not looking very well I can tell. He couldn't comment on what was happening so I think his speech is more or less gone now. I think he should have been included in the Top50 on the front page.

As is a tradition I'll be allocating 50 points to Thomas Schafernaker; as he was sent to an active hurricane earlier this year it almost looked as though it might not be so ridiculous, will anybody else take a punt this year?

I think people should vote for 98 year old Emmerdale matriarch and legend Sheila Mercier also known as Annie Sugden.

I recommend people vote for the fabulous Hollywood legend Sidney Poitier. Aged 90 and was too ill and frail in early 2016 to collect in person his honorary BAFTA and the pictures and video clips of him at the time pointed to him being a man in very frail health and condition.

Form Guide #3 - Robert Mugabe When Mugabe isn't posting on the DL forums or listening to Haddaway and other Eurodance, the 93-year old is having some kind of health problem. Will 2018 finally be the year he falls asleep for good?

Lardy's best placed to answer that.
