Yep, I believe any good forum game should have a healthy transfer of host every few years to stop it being reliant on one person. (There are obvious exceptions like the Deathrace, of course, but not many games are synonymous with one person imo.) I am happy to see the "forum list" idea had legs, and I wish Joey all the best in totting up the scores (and in dealing with many many sock account votes) for 2019!

Well the future King in that pic also gave 'the Bellamy' in the video that still is from. Must have did the same a couple of years later.....in Berlin. "Sorry Adolf, its only The Bellamy". But as Uncle Teddy gave up The Throne for a yank.... And the Nazi gene runs well in the Royals. And even her maj's Loyal soldiers have the same views. Re the US of A , as fascist States go, I suggest giving up the hand on heart shite, and go back to your roots.

Today is the 94th birthday of former Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda. In three weeks, who will be turning 94 is Gambia's former president, Dawda Jawara.

After some talk with msc, I can now officially confirm that I will taking over the Crowdsourced List starting with the 2019 list. I would like to thank msc for running this very well in the last 3 years, and I’m looking forward to running this starting at November when the first list comes in.

The Bellamy salute, seen above, was an extremely common salute to a flag from the 1890’s until its appropriation by fascists beginning in the 20’s. It was the standard flag salute in the U.S. until 1942 when it was replaced by the hand over the heart salute. As the Queen appears to be about five here it is not at all peculiar to see this. Try doing some research before you post something this moronic and reveal your ignorance while calling others retards.

The difference is apparantely Barbara was 'ready to go' whereas George is said to still have a strong will to live. How affected that's been by his wife's death who knows though. I think one day they'll announce out of the blue that he's died at home without any more hospitalisations. That's the way it usually happens. Could happen next week, or next year.Maybe when he gets to Maine he'll give up the ghost while sitting on the porch watching the waves and the seagulls...

He was one of these underrated Directors although he directed some classics like around the world in 80 days, Logans Run or Dam Busters. Rest in peace, my 3rd hit this year

It's always risky to proclaim things like that when you yourself demonstrably have shit all grasp of how this works.

Would a letter to the Editor of the Guardian bemoaning the tragic (yet timely) death of Filipino screen legend, Spanky Manikan count as QO if it got published? I could be a $3 postage stamp from first.

But Bono will never die. He will just disappear up his own arse one day.
