Apathetic morons like you are the reason why the government screws over so much people. You elect one person who breaks their promise and then you go sulking like an emo teenager that "voting is useless". It because of people that have stopped caring that things are so bad right now with brexit and immigration. Vote for what you believe in and don't give me that "one vote doesn't make a difference" horseshit that many people use to stay at home.

Might set up a side thread for these obits from history. It is worth remembering that some absolutely massive names wouldn't have been DDP hits because they didn't get QOs. There was that New York Times project earlier this year where they covered historical figures who'd never gotten an obit in the newspaper, and some of those overlooked were insane (Charlotte Bronte, Marsha P Johnson, Diane Arbus, Sylvia Plath, Ada Lovelace). Danno O'Mahoney's death did make page 34 of the New York Times in 1950 however:

No actually I mistakenly thought you were claiming 85 points in Shauns Death By Numbers and that you had got the rules wrong - as soon as I had written it I realised I was in the Windy Pool and so deleted my comment and added my apologies for being an idiot. Plus she was born in 1914 not 1915 so my comment was even more idiotic.

Lucette Destouches tomb with Celine has been ready since Celine's death. There is written "Lucette Destouches: 1912-19 "; her being still alive in 2018, the tomb is completely spoilt.

Wow. Look at me, agreeing with and liking a Mad Hatter post. Sir Creep is all about second chances. Don't ruin it, MH. Quick 'honest to God' 1 vote matters story. My previous home town of 14000 people, voting for president of the school board (meaning probably 800 people voted lol). I was driving home from wherever and it was about 10 minutes to 8pm, and I passed some lawn sign that reminded me it was voting day. I ran over to the polling place, and voted about 7:56pm, the last vote cast in the matter. They counted the votes and lo and behold it was a TIE, and they determined the winner by coin flip (seriously)....and the guy I voted for won the flip. Had I not voted he would have lost by a single vote. Instead he was school board president.

For starters, my interpretation is submitting a list on a day PRIOR TO the last day of the month negates the last day(s) of the month. We are practical folk -- you don't negate your entry by submitting the next entry on the month's final day....as when the hell else are you supposed to submit it? You were fine to submit your list without jeopardizing points. If this is an incorrect interpretation, speak now Admin....and while doing so, feel free to answer the 'when the hell else' question. SirC (Edit -- as for Wormfarmer, a mea culpa has been posted and I say give WF the points, clearly there was no foreknowledge).

Yeah, not that i'll convince anyone who wants to believe his end was hastened by the authorities/his enemies/some bunch of aliens that want to live anonymously amongst us etc.

10-year old Clark Kent Apuada, appropriately named Superman, won the 100-meter butterfly at the Far West International Championship in California on Sunday with the time of 1:09:30 — more than a full second faster than the record Michael Phelps set at the same championship in 1995. SC

I was just asking in general. I'm sure this discussion has cropped up many times and I think I suggested that if you're a rapper and you get shot, then it's more of an occupational hazard rather than unnatural causes.

Sounds about right. by all accounts he was in a lot of pain towards the end.

Thats not the first time he was moved into a disproportionatly Muslim cell block for no apparent reason. Alot of these right wing activists are gaining political traction as of late which is why parliament are currently attempting to ban people whom they consider trolls to enter parliament. All these recent hate speech laws and cyberbullying horseshit is an attempt to quell the influence of the internet in elections. I recommend voting ukip next election as they are the only party that supports free speech and isn't attempting a wreckless immgration policy.

Hmm - dunno; he's not notably malicious or bitter and twisted. His drinking and general demons are more to do with obvious mental health problems. If anything, he'd be one of the previous nearly-men who'd wish the winners well and actually mean it. Dunno how - say - David Beckham, Frank Lampard, David Seaman or one or two other stalwarts of Golden Generation failures would feel. If we do achieve the near-impossible the tell tale sign would be anyone of the past stars passing derogatory comments about the quality of the opposition beaten on the way to victory in 2018.

"voting ukip next election" as useless as voting for anything else
