4 pointsNow that was not just an interview- that was a grilling. An hour and a quarter of pure hell. Gave it my very best shot but I know that that last question I mucked up on, my mind froze totally in the correct answers. 3 people on the panel , one of which was a very high up manager. All very process based questions, basically explaining a process from start to finish- literally every bit going. Will know outcome by Friday. My gut however says No. I don’t think I prepared enough. But I’m in a job I generally love so it’s not critical. And this his bottle of red wine is going down brilliantly tbh.

3 pointsI believe that within these 17 lists that 50 of the 56 options have been selected. So if any of the 56 die likely that someone will be getting some unwanted points.

2 pointsThanks guys. 5am wide awake..... Its basically traffic design and writing traffic orders, something I’ve a bit of experience with. Plus it’s Mon to Fri 9 till 5 mainly office based rather than out on street on a rolling roster and working till 9pm.

1 pointI've not a second of my life for horse shit, and so I'm sorry my responses aren't the positive, self-actualisation coach, Mr Motivator, Yankee doodle mollycoddling, soapy titwank utterances you're after. Don't take this or any other of the firmer, less positive responses as deliberate, vitriolic slagging down, take it as tough love. Self-pity from anyone wears thin if you're not a samaritan. I know it's not nice, not fair, I get that, and what you may or may not be going through is horrendous, but such is life. Stopping doing all that routine myself several years ago helped me enormously, primarily because that perception of me as a woe-is-me type stopped. Need help? Go and get it. This site isn't help.

1 pointBut what if, while acknowledging one's faults, one does nothing about continuing them?

1 pointSmall silly analysis for this month: if we have only one death, the following deathlisters could be knocked out by the following picks (since they have ranked them higher than any other player has): Theoldlady: Barker, Channing, Downs, Shultz Wormfarmer: de Havilland, Lynn, Redstone, Day, Nakasone Madhatter: Ricketts Unknown man: Gilbert, Reiner, P-orridge, Ferlinghetti Skinny kiltrunner: Frates, Pei, Ricksen, Jaffee, Mercier Clorox Bleachman: Bracknell, Douglas, Lima, Anh, Overton Quim Reaper: Rogers, Escheverria, Cruickshank, de Cuellar, Lear Bibliogryphon: Nobody (well done!) Msc: Philip, James Grim up north: Jose Jose, Stiles Sir Creep: Stevens, Gascoigne En passant: Kumar Captain chorizo: Cardin John Key: K Johnson, Norden Joey Russ: Nolan Qtips: Dole, Greaves Paddyfool: Bush

1 pointI think whether you are discussing Running Injuries or Mental Wellbeing searching for diagnoses and solutions online is fraught with pitfalls. We're death listers not a self help group. In some ways Charon is right - we have no idea who Joey is, what his problems are and how mentally hinged or unhinged he is. We do know that's he's pretty good at death listing though. Joey if you want help with your personal problems I suggest there are better places to look for those solutions (online and offline). Look for them on here and you are going to get the mix of responses that you regularly receive. Best wishes GUN

1 pointI'm not sure how many of these responses to Joey are meant to be funny but he has it exactly right. You must learn to love yourself first. People who don't love themselves will never really be able to love and trust someone else and accept their love. And no matter what anyone thinks, love is the most important thing in life. OK folks, go ahead and rip me. I can take it.

1 pointJust catching up and see I have not one, but two names in the List of the Lost! Should I be proud of that achievement?

1 pointHorse's arse. Cringeable horse's arse. An example of a hard realisation would be that life does not pan out like some American self help audiobook, articulated patronisingly by an appalling narcissist who suggests you do and be as they do. Life can be marvellous, but life also has this sadistic propensity to serve up double helpings of tough shit, whether it be just or not, because life has all the conscience of Hitler's lost bollock. Point is, no, don't bother trying to learn to love yourself more and all such jargon. That'd make you a self help book, and they belong in the bin. Tolerate yourself, yes, by all means that is a must. Be comfortable with your own persona. Have a bit of common sense, soak up some fucking realism and laugh off all the stuff you don't like. That's a way to become more at ease with oneself, and life in general. Hey, do that well and there's a chance you won't end up an embittered, cynical old fud. Or, indeed, a 'part time cunt'. Basically like a lot of the rest of us. But if you do, that is at least better than being a narcissist. Or a self help author.
-
1 pointLol, fuck off Roey, right to the head of the handing out "narcissistic cuntos" badges If 'ever' you think you love yourself, you're fucked. I'm a part time cunt (I sleep), I know that, I ain't gonna change and accept it. Just do whit you can in Life by your own morals, and that is enough, but to contemplate loving yourself, holeeee fuck.
-
1 pointOne of the hardest realizations that one can have is that you don't love yourself enough. I've had that realization recently, and it's really hard for me to soak it in right now, but I know that this realization is true.

1 pointA bull rider died from injuries received during a Wyoming rodeo more than a week ago. Jason Blasdel, of Fruita, Colorado, was severely injured at the Platte River Rodeo on July 7. He suffered internal bleeding and died on July 8. Blasdel, 30, leaves behind a wife and two young children. Fundraising efforts for the family are underway at Western Slope Cattlemen’s Livestock Auction. I've attached the photo, for some reason it struck me poorly. Sad to think those little girls' hearts are broken. I know....all these deaths leave someone saddened, and even kids left behind, for some reason this one got to me. SC

0 pointsI highly doubt Bob is going anywhere anytime soon. He’s been very active lately. I saw him perform last year and he killed with every joke. But then again, his friend Don Rickles was the same way at the end of his life
