"On Saturday she fell victim to a swallowing problem" Which one of those chocolates did her in, I wonder.

Finally finished my review of 1987. So here's a Top 30 of 1987 as promised. (I've had to rule out some great choons in favour of others just because they hit the same spot on the chart - not easy to do, you may have your own favourites!). Won't be another for a while as I've quite a few years stored for my theme teams. Anyway, enjoy listening to anything you haven't heard before: 1987 #01. It's A Sin - Pet Shop Boys #02. Fairytale Of New York - Pogues/Kirsty MacColl #03. Love In The First Degree - Bananarama #04. Almaz - Randy Crawford #05. It Doesn't Have To Be This Way - Blow Monkeys #06. Labour Of Love - Hue And Cry #07. The Music Of The Night - Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford #08. Funky Town - Pseudo Echo #09. Ever Fallen In Love - Fine Young Cannibals #10. Real Wild Child (Wild One) - Iggy Pop #11. The Right Thing - Simply Red #12. Bridge To Your Heart - Wax #13. Wanted Dead Or Alive - Bon Jovi #14. Land Of Confusion - Genesis #15. Paid In Full - Eric B and Rakim #16. It's Tricky - Run DMC #17. Dreamin' - Status Quo #18. Prime Mover - Zodiac Mindwarp and The Love Reaction #19. Promised You A Miracle - Simple Minds #20. Jack The Groove - Raze #21. The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades - Timbuk3 #22. French Kissin' In The USA - Debbie Harry #23. IOU - Freeez #24. I'd Rather Go Blind - Ruby Turner #25. Beethoven (I Love To Listen To) - Eurythmics #26. Girls Girls Girls - Motley Crue #27. Because Of You - Dexy's Midnight Runners #28. Watching The Wildlife - Frankie Goes To Hollywood #29. The Game - Echo And The Bunnymen (No #29 so I've picked another #28) #30. Victory - Kool And The Gang

At 8 this morning I Iooked East and saw the moon with something slightly smaller directly underneath. Word going round that it was Venus making an appearance. Is that a crock of shit? If not, I think that's the first time I've seen Venus. Pretty neat.

No need to. It'll be high 20s to low 30s degrees above the horizon throughout the UK. The timing is not too good though: Totality starts 0441 hrs Midpoint 0512 hrs Totality ends 0543 hrs I didn't see it here in Leicester but I managed to take a photo of it together with the planet Mars using the Zurich Airport webcam:

I feel something is up with him considering he wasn't supposed to be in Singapore for this long, but I'm not sure if that is a reliable news source.

At some point in the past few weeks - maybe longer ago, I saw a red moon? Did I actually see that or was it something less bonkers?

The combination of Geoff Murphy and Bruno Lawrence made some quality films - Utu, Goodbye Pork Pie and of course The Quiet Earth.

Clinton changed to a primarily vegan diet in 2010. He looks gaunt because he's lost so much weight, not because he's ill. He eats the odd piece of salmon, so he isn't strictly vegan, but he's completely changed his diet since early 2010. I think he's going to live a long time.

First post here. Barbara Windsor has to be considered - dementia progressing and now has heart problems. Jimmy and Rosalynn carter should be constants from now on so that the president and First lady streaks continue. Queen Elizabeth should return so that the her death is not missed by the list because it would be the biggest UK death since the formation of the death list. Agree Shelia Mercer should be added as well. Doris Day should stay on the list as well June Brown maybe dropped as she looks in decent health and is still working and Paul Gasgoine is too unpredictable for the death list unless announced as suffering from liver failure or similar.
