OK, all weekend I was like: "I should give the results of the penalties earlier to avoid false hope etc and add some added KO drama ie X was now out UNLESS they scored.." But I didn't, and now I have woken up to a team from someone who has lost the coin toss. Mea culpa, a thousand apologies. Coin tosses Mad Hatter (head) v Boudicca (tails) - (Tails) 1-0 Bou - (Tails) 2-0 Bou - (Heads) 2-1 - (Tails) - Boudicca wins 3-1. Chorizo (heads) v Torva (tails) - (Heads) 1-0 Chorizo - (Tails) 1-1 - (Heads) 2-1 Chorizo - (Heads) 3-1 Chorizo So Torva and the Kid are out barring late shocks. And the Kid is likely out anyway due to personal issues we all genuinely wish him well with, so if his team scores, he eliminates both himself AND Bou, and brings back Luigi... Bibliogryphon. I think I've got a headache. Usual reminders sent out. I now have images in my head of a series of unfortunate events leading to a default final of TQR v Biblio in May, which the latter wins 0-0 on penalties...

The actor William Russell , who played the role of Doctor Who's first male companion way back in 1963, is to star with his son in a new film to be made in Brazil, at the age of 94.He's looking pretty good for his age too ! http://www.doctorwhonews.net/2019/04/william-russell-brazil-270419140008.html P.S his son Alfred Enoch is currently starring in the tv series Trust Me on Tuesday nights on BBC 1

Nope you haven't he no longer commentates on the triple crown events. Not his choice. Think he still does welsh. May have something to do with a ) his well known gambling and b) leaving his mic on and swearing (but Virgo wasn't sacked for the same despite being far worse a commentator). Here's his thoughts on the matter.... Think Griffiths focuses mainly on the coaching side now to be honest. Shaun Murphy joining the punditry team on the afternoon whilst his match was still in progress and due to return in the evening; and relatively close; was perhaps the most bizarre decision I've seen in a while. I genuinely can't understand how the BBC still employ Taylor as a commentator though.

Didn't even bother checking if he was a DDP pick when I saw his death, that's how far off the radar I thought he was.

While I'm here, happy birthday to Steven Mackintosh, 7 months younger than me and the ginger boy who is the first to be condemned to the Timelash. Gawd, I remember when I was that skinny. Still fairly skinny now, but then so is Steven.

That would be hilarious if his 1983 singing partner outlives him...…..cos I have her on my team! *laughs hysterically*

AFAICT after last month's rules misadventure and pending any update from the showrrunner on GUN's idea (or any other decision), I'm assuming we can't change teams tomorrow? At this rate we're all going to December when one unlikely death (QE2 or such?) will wipe us all out and any actual 'winner' will only be determined by countback on the postion in their respective list.

0-21? Now this is embarrassing. In the unlikely event I make a comeback, just use whatever of my list remains + the living Presidents of the United States 1. Carter 2 Trump 3 Clinton 4 Bush 5 Barry O, chuck in Putin, Merkel, May if that doesn't make enough. Also known as the "I give up" list. Thanks for letting me play, was fun! Good game folks

Quit posting here there's absolutely nothing to see here till 2020. I'm upping the ante. I'll ship TEN pounds of coffee to each and every one of you who 'like' this post if she passes in 2019. And a bottle opener of my choosing. And 1 actual lead icicle like they used to use on a 1950s Christmas tree. C'mon now that's a pretty good haul. SC
