Michael Spicer, MP for West Worcestershire (1974-2010) and Chairman of the 1922 Committee (2001-2010), has died aged 76. After retiring from the Commons he served in the Lords.
Irene Sutcliffe who was Maggie Clegg on Coronation Street from 1968-1975 has died aged 88.
