I have the power to add reactions so could look for a couple useful new ones over the weekend.

Christopher Tolkien goes from Middle-earth to under earth, and sees markb4 join the scoreboard with 10 base points and 4 extra for uniqueness, for 14 total. And four hits means scoreboard time. Book and RadGuy are joint top off the rapid demises of Qaboos and Scruton. Can these strong starts continue? =1. Book 75 =1. RadGuy 75 3. drol 65 4. YorkshireBanker 63 =5. My father once gave wise advice on the plight so the elderly: ”When they start falling over, they’re fucked”. The Duke apparently did have a bad fall towards the end of last year so going by my father’s valuable insight he’s fucked and may be dead in the year!

Well Tolkien's son had a long and nice life making millions of his silmarillions.

Wish you'd stop doing this. Every time it gives the impression that the person has died, especially as it takes time to scroll down to the actual news.

It's probably because of an Olivia Newton-John death hoax. I won't post the links because they are infected with Malicious Redirection 36. So don't go looking for 'em.

Great work on getting it all up and running guys. Brilliant. So 6 non uniques/40's for my Catacomb ensemble I'm happy with. Surprised Sgt Mike Sadler remained Unique for a 2nd year. Pleased with 'Texas Dolly' Brunson being unique given age/health history/nailed on obit, and also that other petrol heads didn't take a punt on Bobby A, given heart issues combined with running an outlaws team and the strain that brings. Hope to hit a unique again to make it 7 out of 8 years In DDP I have.

Another question. Is there any option to add or change the post reactions? 'Thank You' is useful, and the like and laugh get used a lot. I don't have much occasion to use the others but a OMG! one and a FFS-type eyeroll would probably get more use, if such are available.

This has been mentioned in the A Night To Remember thread, but I don't think we ever found an obit for Jane Downs, who played Sylvia Lightoller in that film and had a long list of TV credits over six decades! She had also been married to Terence Alexander and Gerald Harper. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0236185/

The Committee pick whoever they feel like picking, my Lord, that's surely well established. I don't think they give a flying fuck about anybody else.

Speaking of dead people 2 teams picked Dianne Foster(though it's likely she was assumed to be alive since entries were already open when news of her passing came out in Dec)

There was a twist in the tale a few days ago with a Gooseberry post when he posted like this only to reveal Edd Byrnes was actually dead, not having a birthday.

Twitter reporting with some veracity that Chris Darrow of the bands Kaleidoscope and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has died aged 75: As part of the latter band he appeared in Paint Your Wagon. Band in this I believe: IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm3044163/
