Yeah, I started it as a way of getting good tips for the DDP, but people kept sending in Prince Philip and Olivia de Havilland rather than off the radar unique tips.

    1) I asked members if they were interested in me doing that thread and quite a few responded yes 2) I’ve been putting a lot of original research into that thread as the info isn’t readily available online. The biggest contribution you make is cut and pasting stories about obscure ppl from your Google news feed. Take a fucking seat.

Ok I'll post the Obit: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-51986611 He becomes my first and probably only hit for my TOTP Theme Team, just under a year after Ranking Roger carked it in 2019. RIP. The 1983 release of Islands In The Stream actually hit its highest position in 1984, charting at #7 in January. So as per usual, got to post it:

I finished the four seasons (so far) of the hard sci-fi opera The Expanse.... and bought the first book of the literary inspiration (Leviathan Wakes). Let's see if I have to buy them all... I can recommend the series. It's a bit heady and dry sometimes (not quite the spectacle of Star Wars, or the clean fun of Star Trek). So binge watching might be a bit straining, but when it's good, it's good... and eventually, it starts looking like the Mass Effect video game series...especially like the somewhat underrated spin-off Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Suppose the present situation is much the same by the start of May, what’s going to happen to the VE Day anniversary? Will anyone who actually remembers VE Day be ordered to stay at home? Not to mention the possibility that Dame Vera and the Royal Consort won’t last till then.

Hi Michael, Thanks for this, at the post at the very top of this page, you'll see Stan Carr's death details. I'd be very grateful if the Hugman website was updated with some of the information we've found and when I can I'll update the master lists. PS For Hugmans website - Iain Maidment of Reading FC died in 2019 as per gov.uk website.

Yea but Boris has to play the part of lovable stupid village idiot with messy hair. The only problem ? He's playing it too well. Btw coronavirus should surpass Ebola today with more deaths. It's now third deadliest disease this century behind swine flu and Justin Bieber.
