Dear Kenneth May I be the first to wish you Happy Birthday whenever that may be. I can assure you that all the people here are just jealous of your youth and energy in trying to contribute to the site. They are essentially all aged overweight end of life care individuals who are just happy to have survived the first wave and are just getting their barbs in before they get killed off over the coming winter. Something to look forward to. Enjoy life. Bentrovato

Listening to the More or Less archives, they had an episode on Pope mortality rates and predicted Francis, as an elderly Argentine man, would make it to 86 (ie 2022). As he only has one working lung, there's a chest infection pandemic routing the globe, and given people keep saying he never looks that well - maybe one to watch for 2021...

Most recent update, from last month: From other posts it would seem she's in the late stages and isn't able to do much, sadly.

I’ll ping it to IMDb tomorrow so it’s at least recorded somewhere online. Got a little excited there. I don’t think I have any British film directors/producers in their mid to late 90s on my radar anymore. They’ve all kicked the bucket!

Or indeed BFI and even rateyourmusic! I'm not even sure Aveleyman has an entry for him.

I'm obviously taking on my own challenge. Teams are coming together, research mostly done, but it'll be the usual case of throwing it all up in the air and seeing how it lands.

Maybe should have whacked it into Ancestry before posing the question. IMDb don’t appear to have picked up on the fact he died in 2014...

Jimmy Carter was the weakest president we have ever had. If he were president today we would all be speaking Chinese!

The Vote Leave team that now runs Number 10 spent years dismissing complex policy problems as “Project Fear” or coming up with complete fallacies as solutions to put to the public (remember GATT24, for example?). And recent times really show up how bogus they are. Whenever they’re faced with a policy problem that urgently needs solving, such as this results debacle or various aspects of the pandemic, they completely go to mush. And the relevant ministers disappear for several days. Oh but wait, Gavin Williamson has surfaced just now. He’s essentially passing the blame to OFQUAL and the buck to Universities. And would you believe it, the BBC is spinning it as the government ‘listening’. This isn’t listening. This is them shitting themselves inside out because even their allies are occasionally having moments of clarity and calling them out on how horrendously they handle absolutely fucking everything.

Looks like Carter and Ginsburg are in a dead heat race over who will get to not invite Tump to their funeral first.
