Biden just said on the CNN Town Hall that Bob Dole is "very ill". Inside info or gaffe?

Sounds like Edna Child (now Tinegate) was already a bit doddery in 2016, so presumably she's in a home somewhere now.

Heikki A. Reenpää, longtime owner of the Finnish publisher Otava and ww2 vet, known for being Marshal of Finland Baron C.G.E. Apparently the thread here indicates that Jasper Blackall is dead, and by the looks of it, before Helen Yate died:

I remember everyone being "shocked" at the time. I wasn't.

Bill Anderson, an Eastern Canadian broadcaster whose interviews included then Senator John F. Kennedy & Boston Pops conductor Arthur Fiedler and whose broadcast career - one that began after becoming a war hero during the WW II - saw him, at one point, part of the army press liaison with the likes of Matthew Halton & Walter Cronkite, has died. He was 98. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/biography-bio-world-war-two-veteran-broadcaster-cfbc-jfk-1.5726635

As recommended to me by another DL member, I'm enjoying We Need to Talk About Kevin at the moment. Nearly got to the pivotal denouement. It features the 'worst villain in all of literature' and no I don't mean surly spree killer Kev.

No progress on Tommy Quickly, I'm afraid. Too obscure for even these Beatles nuts.

Assume the expletive was an edit? Why in gods name are you betting on this stuff? Semi seriously.... IDGAF either, but you cannot avoid the bloody game in this country. I derive what pleasure I can from putting on a semi pretence of supporting Arsenal just to annoy most of my friends who are Spurs mad. The odd thing has been I actually end up wanting Arsenal to win...even though I really don't care, still can't figure that one out. Don't ask me to watch a whole match though, that's a step too far.

I follow Jackie Stallone on Instagram (yes, I'm really that sad). She posts content quite regularly, including videos of her working out at her home gym. I know she survived a heart attack a few years ago but I'd say she maybe has a few years left in her yet. Let's not fall into the trap of just sticking people on the DL because they're old. Made that mistake too many times up until now.

I have always seen Forrest Gump as a sort of hero and have tried my best to follow his example in life so the death of his creator is very sad news. R.I.P The chocolates are finally finished.

New video of old Kane Tanaka. Her health has not declined at all since the beginning of 2020. 118 is extremely likely.

Yikes! Great call! I had him on a list somewhere, then forgot! Hope this game gets updated soon! Hard to keep track of it. Needs to be updated for Lee Kerslake, Pat Smullen, Sumner Redstone, John Hume, Stanley Crouch, Forrest Fenn, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Tommy DeVito, Frank Windsor and Arthur Ashkin. NB! Also Eddie van Halen. Additionally many should have solo/duo points, alliteration points, being born in 1940 or afterwards points, extra points for certain letters, etc.
