Ulitzer and Giles from Gogglebox are the only two Tories I'm saving when class war comes.

So fast it was almost an insult. There were a lot of big names in there across all the elements of film making though. If they had lengthened by 90 secs (or cut the overacted drivel down from beforehand) then i’d have liked a clip of OdeH, Sean, Chadwick and a burst of Ennio Morricone.

Baroness Detta O'Cathain (wiki), Irish-born British businesswoman and a Conservative member of the Lords (since 1991), has died aged 83 following a short illness. Controversial lady. Didn't like the gays. Took up the anti-LGBT rights mantle in the Lords after Janet Young died in 2002.

2001: "Did you do it?" "No." "OK." 2011: "Did you do it?" "No!" "Oh, ok..." 2021: "Come on, didn't you do it?" "NOOO!" "You're not being fair..."

Did they somewhat synchronize the speed with the Stevie Wonder song? Feels a bit cheap, to me. Chadwick Boseman as a final name was somewhat inevitable, I guess. I feel a little sad that Olivia De Havilland is just there...? Too many huge names, I guess. But then, they didn't cover 12 months but more like 16, even included Helen McCrory.

Oscars In Memoriam 2021 segment here. They crammed a lot more names (95!) in this year, but video was pointlessly fast – blink and you'll miss one!

Say something about it so that it’s searchable. How many times you been told this? To save folk the time of reading the small print – he had a rare small cell cancer which was treated during lockdown. Now in the all clear.

My team has gone in. At the moment I am behind in my second round match but my joker may (or may not) be at death's door. So no harm in having a team prepared if I scrape through again at the last minute

Sorry to sound pedantic, but Klosterneuburg is not in Germany, it is in Lower Austria. Thanks for the update anyway.

https://www.indiaeinfo.com/bollywoods-old-alive-actors-who-crossed-70/ Stumbled upon this list of 70+ bollywood stars. I'll list the 85+ ones here: Dilip Kumar (1922-2021) The ancient immortal. Chandrashekhar (1923?-2021) According to the article born 1922, according to wikipedia born 1923. Looks horrible. Mumtaz Begum (1923-possibly 2002/2004) Can't find new pictures of her. Not a lot of stuff about her out there, is she even still alive? Updated, should be dead. Kamini Kaushal (b. 1924? 1927?) Indian sources and imdb say 1927, wikipedia says 1924. Dilip Kumar's crush a long time ago. Ill in 2021 and probably unable to talk nowadays. Ramesh Deo (1926?/1929?-2022) Again, Indian sources and imdb say he's younger. Out of the ones born in 1920s, will he be the last? Looked amazing in 2020. Died from a heart attack on the 2nd of February 2022. Lata Mangeshkar (1929-2022) Playback singer. Looks nearly as ancient as Dilip. Mentioned in the post above. Circling the drain for years, as of 14 January 2022 hospitalised with covid and pneumonia. Died on the 6th of February 2022. Rajkumar Kohli (1930-2023) Director. Retired in 2002 after releasing a movie that copied scenes from Terminator and Mission Impossible. Lost his son in 2021. Kalpana Kartik (b. 1931) Not many new pictures of her exist, lives a silent life and "devours ancient books" Anandji Virji Shah (b. 1933) Music Director, seems to be in good shape. Lost his daughter in 2021. Asha Bhosle (b. 1933) Another playback singer, mentioned in the post above. Said that she "isn't too well" in January 2022. Madhu/Madhavan Nair (b. 1933) Reminds me of Bud Spencer. In a good shape? Atleast he can still stand and walk. Looked great on his 88th birthday, hasn't lost weight at all. Gulzar (b. 1929/1934) Director, some sources claim he was born in 1929, most say he was born in 1934. Probably 1934. Seems to be in good health. Achyut Potdar (b. 1934) Longtime actor still working. Walks with a cane. Shyam Benegal (1934-2024) Director, critic of modern bollywood. Supriya Devi (1933/1935-2018) Suprise! She died in January 2018. Ravi Tandon (1935-2022) Director, in a good shape apparently. Died on the 11th of February 2022. Prem Chopra (b. 1935) Chopra was often in villain roles. Salim Khan (b. 1935) Healthy, walks a lot. Dharmendra (b. 1935) Frail. Or not. Apparently still works out.

Gone through the A–Z list on the Oscars In Memoriam page now. Found an Oscar winner who died completely off radar in the last year: Ken Muggleston (wiki), Australian/British set decorator who won an award for 1968's Oliver! Born April 1930 so about 90 though no idea when he died...
