3 pointsThanks Willz, now updated. Also the List of the Lost. Also apparently we need a QO for Morris Perry, FAO any passing obituary writers... Incidentally as I've switched on the data section, I can tell you the 7 most read DDP front page obits in September 2021 are: Sarah Harding, Charlie Watts, Robert Fyfe, Michael Constantine (!!), Jimmy Greaves, Clive Sinclair and Gerd Muller. So, folk who show up on the front tracker and the most recent update, who knew! Oh, and the new Archive is apparently ridiculously popular.

3 pointsHappy 100th birthday to Alf Patrick, our oldest surviving player. https://t.co/cQXYZSE5Nr Alf Patrick makes it to 100 years of age. Trevor Hitchen also turns 95 on the same day. Good to see landmarks like this than a wave of death reporting.

The Suzanne and Walter Scott Foundation that Scott founded said Scott died Saturday. He'd served as a board member of Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway conglomerate from 1988 until his death. Scott donated to various causes, particularly construction projects around Omaha. https://www.npr.org/2021/09/25/1040728667/philanthropic-billionaire-walter-scott-dies-at-90?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews&utm_content=20210925

1 pointToday is (un)officially Bob Uecker Day, you'll be chuffed to discover. Hopefully Bob will be around to see his/my beloved Brewers win their first ever World Series this October. But I fear they will not, as they'd likely have to beat either the Dodgers or Giants just to get there. https://spectrumnews1.com/wi/milwaukee/news/2021/09/24/saturday-will-be--bob-uecker-day--across-wisconsin

0 pointsLikely to be one of the last updates in this thread before, you know. Big Dave Meltzer in his latest newsletter confirms Jake's COPD has got significantly worse, and he is currently in a wheelchair with a near permanent nasal cannula to aide breathing. He also can't talk for more than 20 seconds without needing oxygen, so can't do TV. He appeared at a Horrorfest convention this week but was very frail.
